When I remember how Ambode was embarrassed as a sitting governor, rejected twice, that's when I remember lagos politics is not for the faint hearted

Congratulations to Deputy Governor Hamzat. However, he should note that he has only one term to serve and is more of a placeholder for his successor, whose name I will not mention. The alleged push for Governor Sanwo-Olu to resign abruptly was aimed at using the law to limit Hamzat to a single five-year tenure—by completing Sanwo-Olu’s term and then starting his own in 2027. By 2031, he would become ineligible to seek re-election, as that would amount to a third term.

However, as we make our plans, God has the ultimate plan.
