Aliko is gradually becoming a politician, e be like say him don see shege as someone that sits on the fence while politics is played in Nigeria

He has not "sat on the fence" since the coming of democracy. Like most smart businessmen he tends to play both sides quietly...though once in a while he comes out openly like in the OBJ era and now in this scenario.

If you stay neutral (don't give anyone support), you will be supplanted by a more crafty businessman.

Dangote will definitely want to have 100% access to who will be the next governor of ogun state. Currently there are multibillion industries and factories been build in ogun state and the next 5 to 10yrs, ogun state will be a strategic and high industrial hub.
Unicane Ethanol industries is currently building a new plant in ogun state worth several millions of dollar.
So dangote is already positioning.

He knows Yayi has no opponent in Ogun State hence a show of open support very early in the race.

Before this time, he would secretly sponsor both PDP and APC (particularly presidential candidates) so that whoever eventually wins will favour him.
