Alot of people loose interest in the things that drives them later in life. Anyway the issue today is not why and how we age but how to overcome the part of genome that causes aging.

Nothing like anti-aging, you go still old and die na ni .. the first Anti-aging is from Yoruba called Ajidewe and Gbekude , those wey used am later begged for death and they're all gone .. No man , I repeat , No man can test , rewind or change what God has perfected....

I think mankind is ever closer to achieving. Infact if all the money we pour on tools to eliminate our selves through war is channeled towards that end we would achieve that long ago. But then again we eliminate aging and war, how do we control world population.

Space is so verse, the distance to the closest sun will take more than 10,000 yrs with our current tech and we don't know if it will hold any earth like planet because suns like ours is hard to study because of their brightness.

Slowed ageing does not affect the fact that people can kill themselves or die during accidents. Hitler killed himself.

In short, your concern is that humans are not mature, enlightened and ennobled enough to live forever, if they do, they will destroy alot.

Well, my own is this - if given the opportunity I doubt I would take it. I believe I am a spirit having a temporary human experience and locking myself down to this plane would impede my cosmic development.

I hadn’t started it yet I was planning to, but a friend told me it’s not as interesting as The Big Bang Theory, so I held off. But since you’ve recommended it, I’ll give it a try.
