Peter Obi On His Way Out Of The ADC- Tweeps by Melezenawii(op): 8:11am On May 01
Peter Obi on his way out of the ADC, he’ll join a political party who will hand him over the Presidential ticket automatically.

He fears he can’t defeat Atiku in the ADC primaries.

Interesting days ahead.

Wherever he goes, those in the party will not allow any useless free ticket.

OBI is not serious in any presidential contest, he is only interested in that former presidential candidate tag grin

If he is a political party, why didn't he form one for the past 4 years that will assure him of a ticket? One reason; he lacks foresight. And that's who you lot consider as your best? You lot have not diagnosed what your problem is.

We've seen what your useless president has done to this country in 4 years. A man who claimed he worked at Deloitte and mobil .

How would you even sell tinubu to Nigerians for second term ? How

Tinubu is fighting all the political parties so that only himself will be at the ballot because he is not popular, he's not sellable , he failed in every aspect of the economy. The northerners have rejected him, the south south and south east have all rejected him. He's a disaster and a monumental disgrace .

I dare tinubu to give room for a free and fair election and let's see if Peter Obi won't defeat him before 12pm .

Since it is clear that some Obidients won't support the ADC if Obi is not the candidate, it will be beneficial for the coalition if Obi runs solo. He won't win but it's important he balkanizes those votes down South and ensures that Tinubu is not able to flip any voter by using the "turn of the South" mantra. Unbeknownst to Obi, his base even in the Southeast will be split three ways with all candidates getting their fair share. Unlike in 2023, a section of the East will still vote pragmatically to maintain a stake in the ADC.

Obi is the most money making keyword in Nigeria since 2015.

Everyone has become Obi's spokes person since 2015.

What a man

Peter Obi is still in ADC, he hasn't disclose to anyone that he's leaving the party .

He's very much in ADC and we are solidly with him. cool

You are an obtuse dense door stopping peg to think Tinubu will not welcome Obi repeating the same foolishness of 2023.

But this time, Obi will only have SE bigoted votes while the SS and NC will not be voting another Fulani man.

The tally is there,:

Tinubu will clear SW, SS, NC and get a good showing in the NE and NW i.e. the minimum 1/3rd requirement.

Obi can take the SE.

Atiku will barely win the NW and NE (outside Taraba, Adamawa)

I won't immerse myself in the gutter with you, that's your turf. Is Tinubu still banking on the 5.6m votes from the North? Will he still be running on muslim-muslim ticket? Time is a gentleman.

Let the primary be without inducement is that too much to ask. Charity begins at home. We need to begin to build a foundation upon which to build our nation. And that will mean having a primary that free and fair without inducement. ADC needs to put their house in order.

The question is, what will Tinubu campaign with: rising cost of living, rising insecurity, poor power supply?
I don't know what he will say to convince people to return him.

Unfortunately, there's no better alternative among the opposition.

The question actually is what will your Obi or Atiku or whoever you want to replace Tinubu do?

I have never heard any of their agendas and plans to fix the country.

Will Obi or Atiku return us back to fuel subsidy regime?

Will they return to artificially pegging and defending the naira?

All I see are very desperate thieving politicians waiting to storm rush to power to loot us dry.

There is money awash in government now due to savings from the removal of fuel subsidy and the floating of the naira.

Have you heard any of the opposition figures stating equivocally that they will restart subsidy and start defending the naira again so as to boost imports at the detriment of FX reserves and local production?

The only people complaining about this government are:

1. Fuel subsidy scammers

2. FX racketeering mafia

3. Importers who drain our economy and industry.

So tell me, what will your Atiku or Obi do differently to improve the lives of Nigerians and at the same time crash fuel prices and strengthen the naira to position Nigerians for an import based economy.

Only power and Security sectors are lagging behind under this government.

Tell me which other sectors are not working

How can the primaries be induced when it will be a direct primary? Even you can register and vote for your preferred candidate. Would an aspirant get your account number and wire you dollars for your support? This line of argument is long dead.

The question is how are we sure Obi is not working for president Tinubu?

Because even with the united opposition don't even stand a chance not to talk of them splitting to different party to contest

I'm sure he's crying about it, but he was Vice President for 8 years. Tinubu became president only because 5.6m Northern voters voted for him. Obi defeated him in the South, even in Lagos.
