I have to be very candid here. The outing of Obi with Atiku in 2019 and Obi with Datti Baba Ahmed in 2023 would outshine that of 2027 if Obi would try to run as the flagbearer of the ADC. It would be a very shocking one that if he attempts it, the outing would be a joke. The best that Obi should do at this moment is to go for the VP slot of preferentially Atiku. He should know that his major influence lies in the South and some parts of the middle belt, and the North would never dream of having another Southerner come to rule, but with a northerner which Atiku is of more influence, they can consider it while he captures the vote of the South East, South South and parts of the South West. He should forget about the dream of becoming a flagbearer to seek for the position of a running mate. I sincerely think that it would help him build Goodwill and have understanding about the operationalities and peculiarities of that sphere of power and politics at the top. My candid opinion

How much were you paid to write this loads of rubbish ? Why is it always about Peter Obi that you sychophants wants to write about like he's the only politician interested in the presidency.. Peter Obi know what's good for him and whatever decision will be strongly supported by his cult-like followers. |

Peter Obi is scared of deputising Obi because he fears he would lose some of his base, and quite frankly, he will. However, he fails to consider that he will gain far more by gaining an even far greater support base in the North. It can even be argued that Obi has lost some base, especially in the middlebelt, even if he contests solo. Tinubu didn't win the South but still became president simply because the North gave him substantial votes to overwrite the difference. Obi should also consider the political interest of the Southeast region before making his move. Enough said! |

mrvitalis:This was the list of FEC projects awarded yesterday. Where is the Southeast on this list? This is under a "Southern government". Since the VP slot is too small for your region as a launchpad, those who thinks it isn't will keep going for it and moving all the projects to their region while your grandchildren are left a share of the debt burden to repay. Let Tinubu continue. It's not as bad as it seems, Shettima is currently Tinubu's Vice and Norrherners are still well represented in the APC. Power will head North in 2031, worse case scenario. When you play politics at the national level, the only question that matters is, "what's in it for my region?" Only one region appear to be getting shortchanged. I wonder why.

AMINDA:Exactly why we need a president from South who would be fair to every region It's funny how you guys think make people from a region rich... Lmaooo When Nigeria spilt every region pay for projects and infrastructure they got na |

mrvitalis:So how do you build conscensus around that supposed Southern president of yours? By demanding that the ticket be handed over to you? What's your bargaining chip? Tinubu supported Buhari in 2015 and the North returned the favour by voting him in 2023, despite Obi defeating him across the entire South, including in Lagos. That's leverage. As usual, keep hoping for Nigeria to split but that can only be done with general conscensus. At the moment, other regions are not as enthusiastic about that because they will much rather play the politics. Every other region plays politics to win, only one region appears to play politics to prove a point. |
