We will continue to hit Tinubu as long as he continues to mess up our country but he isn't less of a Nigerian than any of us.

Will Atiku or Kwankwaso or Amaechi suffer if Tinubu is there? He is a politician and a Nigerian and qualified to be President of Nigeria.

We will continue to put him on his toes as long as he is there but that doesn't mean heaven will fall if he is re-elected.

So I ask again, why not just vote Tinubu again instead? That is your democratic right. Atiku will contest the primary of his party. Feel free to not vote for him in the general elections. He is not counting on your vote. Besides, Atiku contested in 2023 after 8 years of Buhari and won Osun, Akwa Ibom and Bayelsa. Your theory that no Southerner will vote for him is therefore null and void.

Oga, there is no country called Southern Nigeria. When Tinubu shouted Emilokan, did he respect Southern turn? When Tinubu and co-travelers ganged up against Jonathan did you remember Southern turn?

When S/E and S/S leaders argued vehemently to succeed Olusegun Obasanjo.

Moreover, this one is direct primary nah, so what's the problem?

Atiku and his supporters have no regard for Southern Nigeria. He contested against Obasanjo, Jonathan, and Osinbajo. Now he wants Southerners to vote him in 2027? No. Obi or nothing. When it’s 2031, let the North have its turn. But 2027 is for the South East. That’s equity.


Atiku and his camp say ‘unity’, but they’ve never supported Southern leadership. They’ve contested against every Southern candidate. Now they want Southern votes? Obi or nothing. 2027 is for the South East. 2031 can be Northern turn. That’s fairness.

It doesn't have to but it's part of the democratic process, isn't it? There's no difference between Obidients asking Atiku to step down and Tinubu preventing other candidates from contesting against him. If Atiku should step down for Obi because he feels he is the better candidate, why shouldn't Obi also step down for Tinubu since Tinubu feels he's better than Obi? Bottomline, there's no way to ascertain who's better hence why we resort to who's more popular. And only an election will determine that in a democracy.
