Choiceone1:I don't need Tinubu to care about my life. I handle my business very well . Citizens who earn well and are successful have no need to personally know political leaders. I just want Tinubu to reform Nigeria and guide her to become a developed nation. In that regards, he is best for the job and will continue in office next year. Nothing you and your bitter co-travellers can do about that. |

Last time Atiku visited USA was as a member of the Senate president team (Bukola Saraki) to avoid arrest this time he smartly dodged it because he knew what awaits him on arrival |

WizardOfNG:The thought of handing Nigeria over to another Fula after all the evil of Buhari against some sections of Nigeria, is frightening. Atiku should go and rest By the way, this unbelievable news of Atiku invited by an unnamed American friend to come to America is like falsehood, and Atiku's manner of response demonstrates the falsehood in the invite. |

onuman:Well-said. Money runs the world. Especially ultra-corrupt and seedy USA that pretends to be the personification of Sainthood. "One nation under God" and such similar hypocritical malarkey. This means Atiku can find success paying crooks in the American system to give him USA microphone audience. Still, does that mean the world will support a Fulani Presidency of Nigeria when Atiku and co have not shown they are different to their Sahel nation brothers the world fear will engulf Sub-Saharan Africa in humanitarian terrorist-driven crisis. Nigeria is becoming more important to a troubled world looking for greater energy security (oil and gas) because of so many cold wars pervasive in world politics today. The West does not want Fulani leadership of Nigeria right now. I am sure of that. I honestly believe they will even facilitate the break-up of Nigeria if the North does not humbles herself to begin doing what is right by Nigeria. |

Choiceone1:I do not know when you graduated, but the cost of educating Nigerians is very low. Who do you think is paying for it? Before you start shouting that the quality of education is very low, how come our doctors are saving lives daily and are always sought even by foreigners? Are you aware that a UK agency came to recruit some Nigerian doctors? Do you know why? Because it is cheaper for them to get a Nigerian-trained doctor that to train a doctor in the UK. Where do you think the money that was used to subsidize your education, assuming you attended a public school, came from? Then compare the cost of treatment in a private and public clinic in Nigeria. Where do you think the cost of subsidizing healthcare in public hospitals is to come from? In Nigeria, you do not pay toll on public roads. In may advanced countries, you can pay toll over seven times in a two-hour journey. Do you know toll is tax? Then we enjoyed electricity subsidy for many years. Do you think you can afford to pay for electricity if the actual bill is given to you? Where do you expect the money to come from? In many countries, tax is a source of revenue. Before you talk about other oil-producing countries, look at their population and do a proper comparison. See, Nigeria is truly blessed. Nigeria has given me a lot. The country funded my education to the highest level through various scholarships and grants. Some of those scholarships were funded through tax deductions from oil companies. My prayer is for the country to harness out true potentials and no one can stop us. That means getting high quality leadership. That is what Tinubu brings. That is why he is the best. He articulated his plans and executes them with clarity. Let anyone who dislikes him explain to us what their alternative can do better. |

Tinubu goes to France to poo. Atiku goes to wash his face in Dubai, while Peter Obi goes to brush his teeth in the US. Why are the other two gentlemen so keen to avoid the US, even the one who has free transport?. |

I'm calling B.S. on this story story. Some of us remember the Atiko and Saraki ruse back in 2015. No US Congress speech but just a few meetings with connected Washington lobbyists. Mr. Man needs a brand new playbook to fool the ppl. Search the NL archives for the threads and smiling pics.😀 |

Respect for Tinubu on the world stage? Please which Tinubu? The same one who forfeited 460,000 USD or another Tinubu? The same Tinubu who sued to have his academic records not to be released to the public citing irreparable damages? Which Tinubu are you talking about? WizardOfNG: |
| Re: Atiku Invited To The U.S. To Speak At Congress by WizardOfNG: 3:02pm On May 01 |
ayodejimayowa:So Atiku is the solution because you can't get over colonial mentality that leaves you feeling the UK, USA etal are your major problem and not your home grown destroyers like Atiku etal? Bruv, Singapore was a former colony of the UK same as us. Today Singapore is rated a better country to live in than the UK with stronger passport. Imagine if they were like you and incapable of moving beyond blaming colonial masters for everything. Singapore has left the UK behind and Brits are even moving to start new lives in Singapore. Yet you lot are still cursing Lord Lugard. How long are you lot going to keep seeing yourselves as victims instead of siezing the moment, taking responsibility and delivering solutions for your own problems? Black Africans have problems. Walahi. |

franvincoop:Grow up. Abandon emotions and sentiments as adult should be able to do. When the lady below cites Nigeria as a reference point across the world, who do you think she is talking of? Because you have petty and ethnocentric reason to dislike PBAT does not mean you disregard the reality of how he is well-regarded globally today for his strategic and laudable reforms. Grow up, acknowledge reality and learn to rise above petty hatred of others. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ph5XCf8jgOE?si=NO8LxJfw5jcCIAJx

goslowgoslow:There is something called "a lesser evil". None of them is good but Atiku is a billion times better than tinubu who has been declared as the worst president Nigeria has ever had and who has inflicted hardship on the masses.. |
| Re: Atiku Invited To The U.S. To Speak At Congress by franvincoop: 3:29pm On May 01 |
16 billion dollars for power no concern Atiku. Na OBJ give the contract. Which properties to whom? OBJ and Atiku were enemies during OBJ second term, I mean mortal enemies, if Atiku stole money, OBJ would have used the EFCC on him. Atiku is no saint, but he is better than Tinubu. At least we know his classmates and know he served as a top brass in the Nigeria customs service b4 entering into politics. Your Tinubu has no known classmates, no neighbors, no childhood friends, attended a school before the creation of the school. Please what is Tinubu source of income from 2008 - 2022? Tinubu who stole Donald Duke childhood photos and used them like his own? Tinubu has borrowed more than all Presidents without paying subsidy, we are presenting running 2025 budget in 2026 year, do you really believe that this country is being run by a so called 1st class accountant? It beggars belief. goslowgoslow: |
