I started mar 4 with 500k. Now I have 522,886. Upon all the bull. When I have their time I'll walk into their office.

On a serious note, who has seen an update on afrinvest. I took a screenshot on Wednesday to see how much increase I'll get with the bull. My balance remains same. No change till now.

No update for Apr 29 yet. I thought I was the only one

Issue like this was once raised sometimes in the past on the thread, but led to an argument.

I did my calculations based of gains and losses on Zedcrest and other fund managers I subscribed with. I discovered that they don't always subtract the losses from their YTD. This is not good.

Among the fund manager I subscribed to, I find only Cardinalstone being truthful with their YTD. The fund managers YTD could be tracked and calculate week-on-week on sec.gov.ng.

If you are recommending fund managers to subscribe to, kindly put caveat.

If returns for 4/29 is 5.11% and previous YTD is 87.61%, why is the current YTD 97.19%?

What do you think is the issue?
Is First Bank Equity not transparent about their returns, or is a significant portion of the investment allocated to less productive assets?

BTW, I don't patronize them.

You can't top up CS & zedcrest till Monday, but u can top up paramount on Sunday, the money will reflect on Monday. Because if u top up paramount on Monday, the money will reflect on Tuesday.

The NAV for ARM i believe is accurate, what you are seeing is not YTD but 1 yr return meaning it represents a full 1 Yr circle from the date you checked. See their NAV at over 100% in March April doesn't represents the YTD.

Does this apply to other funds on the spreadsheet?
I believe YTD means year to date, which is interpreted as returns from the beginning of the calendar year to the specific date under reference. How can a fund have a YTD of over 100% in the first week of January?
I invest in ARM and the reported YTD in app is well below what's on SEC spreadsheet.
