Man actually is a god as satan and demons, angels are gods.

God created us in His own image {Genesis 1:26-28} so there are certain qualities of God that we possess but the title "GOD" is far from our attribute.

WHY?

Because that title connotes SUPREME BEING which means God supposed to be unstoppable and whatever He wants to do will surely be! Isaiah 55:8-11

No angel can promise to do anything in the future because they are not supreme being they are still under the Almighty so they have limited power not absolute.

God's word said man can't even direct his own footsteps {Jeremiah 10:23} that means man has no right to set standards for his fellow human that is why God said man shouldn't think of setting standards for himself or others regarding right and wrong! Genesis 2:17

So the one and only person who has the right to set standards for us all is our Almighty Maker whose purpose can not be ruled out by anyone! Isaiah 46:10

Humans are children of the supreme being due to qualities only the Creator possesses but we can't be rightly called "God" because lack the ability to say and fulfill always what we say!

It means spirit.

Every spirit is a god.

Psalm 82 God himself said that men are gods because they are the children of the most high. The children of the most high are most high.

There is no difference between God and god except for differential purposes.

You talk about qualities.

Do you know that Dangote is a man. The poorest man is also a man. Yet it's qualities that make one rich the other poor.

The qualities Dangote has, the poorest man also has it. The difference is that Dangote has unlocked his, the other man hasn't.

The problem we have as human is that we don't study the historic books and bible which contains the word of God.

Knowing God is beyond religion and God is not only expressed by the lay down rules and doctrine of Christianity nor Islam nor any other religion, Christ came to teach alignment and changing the way human think. God is infinite and can't be contained in any religion.

I can understand people have limitations and perception in the way they understand God.
Truth is objective and not subjective to the way you think about God.

If you study Christ teaching diligently you can understand what God is and not what religion belief made you to believe.

Satan is also wholly spirit. Man is not wholly spirit for sure.

God doesn't need to approve you in spirit to address him once you are his children.
