Settled for the 800w settings on Dayo. 3 cups of rice get cooked in 40mins. The way naija dey go so, one need this as normal usage and gas as backup. Thanks to those who opened our eyes to these. The Maxi guy and Dayo guys. |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Deluxe8000(m): 11:29am On May 02 |
zenith4biz:I have ordered for it with 3k delivery. Expecting the delivery soon. Thanks. Though I still need the biggest pot the cooktop can handle for boiling water in large quantities like 20L of water. |

| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Unfaized: 12:49pm On May 02 |
dollarnaira:Yes o. Gas is now my back up to be used only in emergency cases. The Dayo obviously has smaller coil hence heating is more focused on the center point rather than evenly spread. Also there's a learning curve to it, u go first burn food small 😂. |

I used two other 330w panels in series because my cable is 2.5mm it still didn't charge it properly. Do I need to change the cable? AyobamiOluwole: |

Unfaized: ![]() The follow come pot is just for boiling anything without oil. A better cooking up ahead. Anyways thanks for the boost. Now, I can cook and boil with my 12v. |

| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by AyobamiOluwole: 2:54pm On May 02 |
EMuyi1:Yeah. You need to change the cable. I told you 6mm at least. Your 3 panels now gives off about 30Amps. 6mm of should carry such current without resistance. It’s expensive, but it’s best for the best result you want. |

| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by dollarnaira(m): 6:25pm On May 02 |
codemaster2much:YES but with 2 or 3 times partial stirring. My next por search will be thicker with a little surface area short than this. Nonetheless, it worth every penny. Warming soup from freezer is magical though with a different mini container. |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by bassdow: 6:38pm On May 02 |
EMuyi1:Now you see why we mostly recommend between 6mm and mostly 10mm as minimum. Now you have to spend money buying what you already got just because you have quickly outGrown the thickness. Hopefully others are learning. Let your minimum always be 10mm even if you and/or your professional belives you only need 1mm. Hopefully @EMuyi1 doesn't live on ground floor of a 3 storeyed building |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by bassdow: 6:40pm On May 02 |
AyobamiOluwole:He's even better off with that Aluminium that looks like copper . He just needs it much thicker. You know a lot of these solar panels even doesn't really come with Pure copper cables. And I'm not refering to the NEPA cable Ooo OP should make 10mm the minimum else He/She fit still have a reason to upGrade tomorrow But then again, if it were 48v or 24v system, thickness wouldn't be this high |
