Tinubu remains the best President Nigeria has had since 1960.
..best president with fuel of 1400 naira a litre, exchange rate at 1,350 naira to a dollar, high costs of living, high rate of inflation in every sector of the economy, high rate of unemployment, high costs of foodstuffs, .school fees in schools in Nigeria high, medical treatment and drugs high and expensive in government hospital, transportation costs in Nigeria is high, house rent high, electricity bill high, hardship

Na you and bandit go know how far for this road. The Mambilla Plateau is one of the most beautiful places in Nigeria. I've been there. Absolutely lovely place. Just too bad that bandits disturb in that axis.
its a Fulani dominated area using terrorism to chase native owners.

No wonder BAT government and his team are scared to commit on Nigeria existing Technical infrastructure that can create meaningful employment and general opportunities to all Nigerians, like Ajaokuta steel, Oil refinery, Nigeria Airways, Water cooperation, Power Generations and transmission, tourism.

But only focus on Road maintenance... Very poor score card you have there with all the Trillions budget from Tax payers money and loans.

You can hardly blame Fashola. He was equally an active minister but he just couldn't achieve much because the head of government at the time never prioritize infrastructure and as such, much funds were not made available for him.

The priority or legacy of any Head of government will determine the sector that would enjoy the attention...and as far as Tinubu is concerned, he believes if the roads are good, economy would improve, money would circulate better and the people's movement would not be impeded. So, he funds road projects and the minister, being an active civil engineer himself, followed up closely to ensure delivery.
But that is wrong. What we need is human capital development. Security. Bandits can operate on completed roads, bandits stopped a train already, can plant explosives to blow up train tracks. We need more investment in farming and that still falls under security because farmers have been driven by bandits.

Always nice to have a good road. The scenery is beautiful. About the road itself.... it looks great for cars and light vehicles.... but doesn't seem to have a foundation to bear heavy vehicles. I'm worried about drainage ...flooding...erosion ...and landslides. From the video ... at the beginning ... there's a wall of soil right next to the road ....no drainage ...no retaining wall to prevent a landslide in case of heavy rains. What happens when the water runs off?...carrying soil with it? Farther down...the road is lower than the land level...what will happen when it rains?....I can see the road being flooded and after the rains ...the sediments settling on it . I don't want to believe heavy equipment is not used in the road construction.... that's just pretty much common local concrete laying guys using same method and tools to make the road. How far more to go? ....and more importantly...when is it scheduled to be completed? ...when did construction begin?...how much has been completed so far?...just curious
Are you sure you watch the video at all?

Fashola just wasted 8 years as Minister of Works. He couldn't fix the Suleja-Minna Rd. Abuja-Kaduna road was a disgrace to Fashola. Auchi-Ekpoma-Benin Road was an eyesore for 8 years under Fashola. Same with Okene-Lokoja Rd and Asaba - Benin Rd

Rubbish. While I commend the construction of roads, the propaganda needs to die a horrible death. Of what use is the noisemaking when the roads aren't even complete? Benin bypass, so much noise was made but work has stopped. Enugu - Makurdi, same thing. Transporters prefer to drive to villages to avoid delays. Enugu - Onitsha that you people keep singing about, look at the absolute slow pace of work and substandard process going on there. Enough of this bullshit from people that aren't well traveled. I'm on the road every damn week and I know what I go through. You people that sit in your homes collect pictures from a 2-3km section of an entire 100+ kilometers road and make so much noise about it. Tinubu is a failure and APC is a failure too. Accept it and let's make sure we send them home next year. Enough is enough

I get your point. But, remember that security is a civic duty as well. The war can not be won except with collaboration of the locals. This is the reason state police should have been activated before now. But the funny thing is that the States that need this mostly are not even interested just because of the salaries and emoluments they would pay them. That stance has also not changed even as their monthly fiscal allocation have improved. In addition, religion is another thing that has made the security worse. We all serve the same God but that doesn't mean we should shield our friends and members of our churches and mosques whom we know are into all these things.

Human capital development, with the right infrastructure in place, that would come naturally because it would result in creation of direct and indirect employment. Already, there's intervention in agriculture and the states are also empowered to invest in their people. Interestingly, while some states are working on assisting their people economically and building schools and employing qualified teachers, some states are spending that money on things like pilgrimage, religion and other things. They all produce different results. But then, we all look the same but our needs are different.

Lastly, the NELFUND introduced by the federal government is working and helping families in the area of education and it has nothing to do with knowing people or having any connections in the government.

It is left for the states to look inwards, know the greatest challenges of their own people and solve it.

Also, remember that the local government now get their allocation directly from the Federal government. They should all play their role to ensure that their people are okay.

President Tinubu will not come to your domain to come and give you handouts. The government cannot make you rich, it will only provide for you and enabling environment to thrive.

Nelfund isn't an achievement. Increasing tuition and then turning students to debtors isn't an achievement especially when you can cut cost in other unreasonable areas to keep tuition low. Do you know not everyone is selected for the nelfund, or you think it's all the applications that sail through?

Also, to benefit you need to have a matric number, meaning you must be able to afford registration fee and even the first year school fees yourself before you are assigned a registration number than can now apply for nelfund ask anyone around. Anyone that couldn't afford to go to school when it was still very cheap will not be able to afford it now that accommodations and transportation and feeding is expensive.

It is people like you that have the country in the state it is today..... if your candidate is in power ...then everything done by the FG is perfect ...no room for constructive criticism ...no room for improvement ... no mistakes or missteps made.

The first photo is at the beginning of the video ... there is no drainage nor retaining wall ... no parapet to serve as a buffer zone in case of rain and run offs...it will go directly on the road. It is likely to happen because the soil is not the stable type.

The second photo is just to give what you asked for ...a mountainous road with a drainage system. Now you know they do exist...or ...you can shout AI photo.

The third photo is what is likely to happen ...road erosion l wash out.

We are here to learn....constructive criticism welcomed.

The issue is not the minister, but the ability of the president to open financial source. Buhari can hardly fund critical projects due to subsidies. The government does not have credit score to borrow money for major projects

NELFUND would not make any meaning to you because you're not in school, neither do you have any child in a tertiary institution.

One thing I don't really like is downplaying the efforts just because it doesn't benefit you directly. But those benefitting from the intervention will not trivialize the policy.

And saying that one needs a matric number to qualify! I doubt if you know the meaning of what you just said. The only thing that confirms that you got an admission is the matric number allocated to you. Or do you intend to go and apply for it when you're not in school and you expect an approval?
