The Issue With Peter Obi - David Hundeyin The basic issue with P.O. is the same issue I had until 2024 - he refuses to acknowledge that his platform is fundamentally anti-imperial. The idea of moving Africa's largest population "from consumption to production" is a fundamentally anti-imperialism idea.source

Excellent write up but please be saving your energy David. The people you are talking to don't like truth. They love lies, like the one Britain told them in 1960. Leave them let them be suffering and smiling. That is their talent. |

No primaries, No party structure, No politician loyal base, Just endless online rhetoric. Peter Obi, just wants automatic ticket. If you form a political party inside your kitchen today, Peter Obi will join that party as long as you guarantee him the Presidential Ticket.

To intelligent people only After going through the write up, Then look at Anambra, Are you not really confused ? ![]() Is Anambra not supposed to be the model for whatever P.O is promising us ![]() ..Is Anambra looking like the europe or America that humdeyin was talking about?Thank God for the Internet which is the closest to what we have as time machine. Lets quickly check real time assessment of him as governor:

This fugitive David dude and his deluded conspiracy theory. What does he know about consumption? He has never handled a proforma invoice in his life. Majority of our imports are coming from China. Is China in Europe' |
| Re: The Issue With Peter Obi - David Hundeyin by PHIPEX(m): 7:40pm On May 03 |
Obi fights for the poor, the poor turns around d and fight Obi. A man who has never gotten a world class medical care, whose children attend a school with a leaking roof while sitting on the floor will rather fight Obi and mock his disciplined life than fight those who rendered him poor. |

So Mr David what is the solution? We are very quick in this country to point fingers, assign blame, and intellectually tear people down. But what exactly are we proposing as a practical way forward? Yes, the structural issues you raised about neo-colonial dependency and import-driven economics are valid. Nobody serious will deny that Nigeria’s economic model needs a fundamental reset. But beyond identifying the problem, what is the actionable path? Are we saying any leader who wants to industrialise Nigeria must first: * Liquidate all foreign assets? * Disconnect completely from global systems? * Abandon diplomacy and take a hardline ideological stance? Because if that is the threshold, then we need to be honest, how many people are realistically positioned to meet it and still govern effectively? Transformation from consumption to production is not a switch you flip overnight. It requires: * Careful economic sequencing * Strategic partnerships (even with the same global powers) * Institutional reforms * Internal capacity building Even countries that successfully industrialised didn’t do it in isolation, they navigated the same global system intelligently. It’s fair to critique Peter Obi, but it’s also important to recognise that governance is not activism. There’s a difference between ideological purity and practical statecraft. So Mr David, I ask again, beyond pointing out contradictions, what is the clear, step-by-step solution for Nigeria that balances realism with ambition? |

For the past 3 and a half years all the tilumbu 'under table crumb eaters' have been having and carrying the name of Peter Obi on their tongues and in their heads ![]() Even after swearing that after 6 months (in 2023) he would fade away from Nigerian politics ![]() Peter Obi has learned politics101 and he is just getting ready for the examination 😏 Why are you all shivering 🥶 okwute hasn't even entered into the exam hall yet 🤗 |

So what is David advising PO to do ? Tell the Western world that they have no place in the new Nigeria he is proposing? Wouldn’t that be the easiest way to his death? I’m not a PO supporter but David just wrote nonsense. |
| Re: The Issue With Peter Obi - David Hundeyin by iampeterben(m): 7:45pm On May 03 |
Leave PO alone and his decision he has made. |

| Re: The Issue With Peter Obi - David Hundeyin by udemzyudex(m): 7:51pm On May 03 |
I wrote something about this on my status today, there is a deliberate attempt to continue keeping Nigeria where it is today. You can't tell me that those at the helm of affairs with their degree and experience still can't figure things out let alone fix our energy problem. |
| Re: The Issue With Peter Obi - David Hundeyin by foleskay(m): 7:51pm On May 03 |
Radarada. Talking from both sides of his mouth. Atimes I wonder if Tinubu supporters are more intelligent than Obi's Obedient mobs. All na cho cho cho, no concrete plan. Shioor. Like leaders like followers |
| Re: The Issue With Peter Obi - David Hundeyin by Dialpad: 7:52pm On May 03 |
Peter Obi cannot be the president of Nigeria, it's practically impossible. Even his followers are aware but as usual they will use emotions. Kwakwanso is there to perfect the job for Tinubu, naive Obi and his mob will still believe they will win the election |
| Re: The Issue With Peter Obi - David Hundeyin by Godfullsam(m): 7:53pm On May 03 |
What is this one saying sef ![]() PO is just like every other Nigerian politicians full of lies and deceits. The fact that his campaign mantra ' consumption to production' does not mean he will keep to that ideology once he gets power. Don't be surprised when everything turns to 'from corruption to corruption'. Even balablu promised 24 hours power and asked to be voted out of he failed to fulfill his promise. He has failed and some zombies will still vote for him. Trust politicians at your own peril. |

David Hundeyin is a hungry fool. He knows nothing of what he speaks of. |
| Re: The Issue With Peter Obi - David Hundeyin by Julius1995(m): 8:00pm On May 03 |
It is. He invested in factories. Specifically, a brewery that generates hundreds of millions/billions of naira every year and employ thousands of people. The status of Onitsha main market (the largest in Subsaharan Africa) was significantly improved under him. And there are many more. People like you are why Hundeyin is wrong. Nigeria is where we are today because of successive bad governments who have weaponized poverty and ignorance so much that many people, including you, reason and make decisions the wrong way, to the benefits of your political gods.
