I still think Carrick is a bit tactically deficient.

The high press is not there from his team and the transition is often too slow between the midfield and the attack.

However, the team will still need the injection of a few players in a few areas.

If it was just about winning league, I won't be bothered too much since only Klopp has won the league since the last 35 years. (The last win can still generally be counted as Klopp's win, as evidenced by Slot's obvious struggles in trying to assert his own style.) The problem is, with the others who didn't win the league, there was still a lot of respect for the team, you couldn't come to Anfield without fear and trepidation, we could dispose of smaller teams easily, we were doing well in Europe even though it was a mess in the league. Even Brendan Rogers as mid as he was challenged Guardiola for the title.
In my opinion this is easily the worst coach, unless he redeems himself next season since the club has decided to keep him.

I am not sure Liverpool are ready to sack him anytime soon. Yet Chelsea have changed coach 2times this season, Man United, Tottenham,WestHam, Wolves, Nottingham forest have all changed coach at one time or the other this season
