Dave, If you're a GTB staff, you should be fired for taking up the work of the bank PR on social media. Who authorized you?

I hope ignorance will not kill you today.
You're responding under which capacity? Who are you?
Don't let me expose you to the banking sharks. I'm like a moving train, don't cross my lane.
I repeat you are an EVIL MAN.

All banks in Nigeria are banking shark, so why wish a bank to fail, what joy does it bring to you?

why does evil make you happy and you dont want evil to come to your family, which kind life be that? I hope evil will not kill you today

I repeat all banks are guilty of whatever GTb is accused of doing, 99% of banks are sharks if not on their fellow bank, then on the helpless populace.

I am responding on the capacity of 100s of thousand feeding thier family tru GTB in this tough period. I am DenreleDave

Moving train wey engine oil don knock grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

All these UK regulators are usually mean when it comes from banks that are located in developing countries

Just imagine slamming a fine of 7.6m pounds on GT Bank for regulatory infractions. Something they cannot do to their own local banks.

If we do same to any of their entities here, they will report to the PM and the house of commons and those guys would put pressure on our government to rescind the decision.

The fine was quite excessive in my own opinion. undecided

These regulators would always find a way to make money for His majesty revenue and customs

Big money to be paid by an already collapsing bank shey Dem no go collapse patapata like dis
They were fined in 2013 and they didn't plug the leaks since then? It means that they know what they are doing, and those they're doing it for.

They're apparently earning more than the fines.

Can someone explain this stamp duty always deducted by gtbank.
It is just plain ridiculous...
I have not encountered such with other banks...
You do not know GTBank like I do. GTBank is the most fraudulent Bank in Nigeria.

I have 6 Bank Accounts and only GTBank sends me transaction notification 3 times of the same transaction on the same day - using it to deduct money from my account.

Let me rephrase in case you don’t understand. If you conduct a transaction with any Bank in Nigeria, you get (atleast from my own experience with Zenith, Access, Stanbic, Polaris & FCMB) just one “SMS & Email” notification, but it is only GTBank that will send you “3 SMS & 3 Emails notifications” for the same transaction just so that they can charge you humongous amounts of money as “SMS Charges” at the end of the month.

Even if you do a single transaction for entire month Zenith will send you only 1 alert and charge you #6 but at the end they will deduct #250 from your account and name it accrued sms charges for the month.

Their poor network and exploitative nature has made me to abandoned them. Even the last 1k I have with them I use 950 recharge.

GTB has been the most useless for two years running. The way the bank deducts money for ordinary transaction alert is ridiculous.
I was thinking it’s just me
They just deduct money from my accounts for no reasons
