I have a friend with a policy regarding second-hand materials: “If the object was sold and is in good condition, it means the previous owner had no issue with it. Therefore, I will enjoy it.” It has worked for him all these years. Back then, he always bought fairly recent Blackberry phones for half their full price. |

As the OP stated, "UK Used" is just a label slapped on these devices. The overwhelming majority of these devices have never been used anywhere near the UK. It's just that Nigerians have been known to seek devices when they are said to be UK used. So the sellers label them as such. People just need to be cautious on any used devices they purchase, and to do a thorough testing of the device before payment. Nigerians in general have a very low purchasing power. So most will NOT be able to afford new flagship devices from the major brands. However, the local brands seem to have done a decent job on their devices, and new devices from them should suffice for most. |
