Father, Mother & Baby Die In Accident On Abuja–Minna Road by Prestar(op): 9:38am On May 05
A young couple and their few-month-old baby girl have lost their lives in a tragic crash along the Abuja–Minna Road. The incident occurred on Sunday, May 3, 2026.

Reports circulating on social media claim that a trailer ran over their car on the Suleja–Minna stretch. The father and infant died instantly, while the mother was later confirmed dead. The road has gained a reputation for frequent fatal accidents, often linked to poor conditions, numerous diversions, and reckless driving.

Despite being heavily used by daily commuters, such incidents continue to occur. One X user captured public sentiment in a widely shared post: “This Abuja to Minna road has claimed way too many lives, man.”

This is a monumental tragedy and the worst way to die. Only God knows how it happened. It is better to always give all these trailers wide gap when travelling.

When you see some accident scenes, you compare the present direction of the vehicle involved with where they were coming from, it just doesn't make sense.
These trailer drivers are always under the influence of hard drugs. I saw is while driving 2 days ago. I even followed the truck for some time to see if we would get to a Police check point or bad patch where there are many people so I can confront him and his guys.
I tried calling police hotlines but that na matter for another day. Emergency services wack for this kontri

I can bet my life there won't be an investigation to prevent a re-occurence and hold culprit accountable. Welcome to my country.

Seen this particular truck with that high speed and you couldn't do anything shows you too are part of the problem...

I'm sure you made a mistake quoting me. What you wrote doesn't correlate with my contribution.
I clearly said I tried to report or confront one when I saw him taking drugs while driving and you are typed only what God knows

Niger State doesn't have one single Federal road that is in good condition.

Very, very useless state

Nothing happens in this life without a spiritual forewarning, it's just that many times we ignore these warnings, especially through dreams!

Nawa o, what a life.
I see no reason why heavy duty cars will be active day time, I thought the government restricted their movement only at night? Well this is Nigeria.

Always hire a highway driving expert when you have to engage with several trailers, lorries and trucks because highway driving experts know their driving behavior better.

The citizens are not interested in that, just give them obi or Carter efe vs portable.
Nigerians have soo many reasons to protest heavily and demand so many good things immediately.

But guess what? Tribalism is here to stay.

It's just so unfortunate.

All these trucks drivers that will be driving with Arrogance, and satanic annoyance, thank your lucky stars that you are in an utterly useless country like Nigeria. Yes, I mince no words

Otherwise you guys would have been preparing your useless punk asses on an electric chair for intentional manslaughter in a couple of months. Heediots!!!

I wonder. I have to go back and re-read what you wrote to see if I jumped some lines. Because his post has absolute no correlation with your contribution. I doubt if he read your comment to the end.

go and check there is more than 80% possiblity that the driver of that trailer was on drugs or was just a motorboy given a trailer to start driving.
