The vice presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Datti Baba-Ahmed, has lost his polling unit to Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the Zaria Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

In the result announced by the Presiding Officer of Polling Unit 021 at Tudun Wada Ward


PDP scored 102 votes

APC scored 99 votes

LP scored 54 votes

NNPP scored 11 votes.


The Labour Party came a distant third with 54 votes while the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) got 11 votes.

The total number of accredited voters was 272.

Meanwhile, Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State delivered his polling unit to the APC presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, in Saturday’s presidential election.

In the election result declared by the Presiding Officer of El-Rufai’s polling unit 024 at Ungwan Sariki ward 7, in Kaduna North Local Government Area, the APC presidential candidate scored 173 votes to defeat Atiku who polled 134 votes.




( He should have mentioned this to Peter Obi when he was his running mate in 2023 that North won't back obi-datti movement. Politicians should learn from Peter Obi utterances.. some opinions shoud be kept....)

Datti Ahmed is a useless ungrateful politician .
This is a man that couldn't even deliver his own poling unit for the labour party in the 2023 presidential election , even his own wife didn't vote for him.

Datti is not even considered a politician in the north, he's not regarded as a northern leader but just a teacher with zero experience in politics .

Peter Obi has moved on to NDC and millions of sane Nigerians are moving with him so datti and tinubu can go to hell , we don't care .

I know what you are thinking about but losing your PU has never been a factor for winning or losing the overall election. Know this and know peace. For young people, you don't need to have enemies because of your candidate. Maybe some of you are just getting introduced to the chamillionaire chameleon like nature of adults but don't expect everyone to support your candidate. I know how painful it is when you wonder why some people cannot see what you are seeing but that aside, it's what it is. Just because someone is no longer supporting you is not enough reason to start ridiculing them or abusing them. Life is a journey and this game is what it is. Watch events diary and see all these politicians attending each other's wedding, birthday and burial ceremonies. Do not die in their war.

He is entitled to his own opinion. He can say whatever he likes. When you give too much power than necessary to your adversary, you are distracted from your own goal. Didn't they say Obi could not win more than 1m votes last time? Didn't they say you can't win any states without governors? Didn't they say you guys don't know how politics is? One thing I like about Obi's candidacy is that it has dispelled this money politics and so-called power of governors in elections. It's so bad they don't even trust Sanwoolu. Now, his current ambition is also testing something else. That Nigerians are not interested in your party, despite losing all his Labour relations people are still following him and tbvh, Obi is not the politician's delight. They don't like him. They only like the popularity for their own use. Someone that doesn't want to do money politics, he will not allow them steal and win contracts. What I like about his moving is that the money politics we play in our parties also have to stop. I am waiting for the nomination form of NDC and see what they will announce. We are encouraging thieves to represent us just because they want to be president. Obi will tell you, am I going to pay you to serve you? That's not too Nigerian. So his candidacy is doing something for Nigerian politics, win or lose, whether he is pretending or not but for his supporters, you don't have enough time. It's just 6 months to the election. Campaign differently, show why your new style of politics is worthy and make the ruling party jealous. Be focused. That's what APC did in 2015 and Tinubu did in 2023. Don't pay attention to your detractors. Don't give them more oxygen than they need. Time is against you.
