Nobody calls you Chinedu here..stop manufacturing grandeur.

Also know that PO and his supporters will NOT relent or entertain nonsense from losers.

aswani:
I that have been labelled Chinedu on here more than once as I have asked people to stop bringing in starving Biafran children and Peter Obí's family into play when they are pushing back against Obidient insults and abuses. Point is I am not worried about being in a gang opposing others, I calm it as I see it.

Also, I will have an opinion on Peter Obí whenever I feel the need to, you are welcome to block me if you don't wish to read it. It will never be up to you what I say about him and when I choose to do so, kapish.

I nor go ever comot mout for Peter Obi màtá lai lai, who wan bend, kwik bend.

Finally, Obidients are the worse when it comes to insults, abuses and curses simply because people don't agree their Peter Obí is the messiah to take us to the promised land.

Obidients thrive more on social media noise than real political substance, fueled by hype, exaggeration, and a fair dose of self-deception. They mistake online trends for actual grassroots strength, living in an echo chamber where hashtags feel like votes. What they parade as a movement often looks more like a fleeting frenzy, loud, attention-grabbing, but ultimately lacking depth and staying power. Like a flash in the pan, it risks fading the moment it meets the hard test of real-world politics.

It's natural, any organic love for anyone that met disappointment and lack of direction will die naturally. Since Obi was not the one that build the movement from beginning, it was the movement that build Obi to the confidence level of becoming a presidential candidate.

Checked well, there was no Obidents before, during and after being a governor for 8 years until 2023 due to effect of endears.

In this case pulling out of support by anyone will be easier than those politicians that build Thier support base before getting to the top.
Exactly, peter OBI doesnt own that movement. It was built around him to protest muslim-muslim ticket and Musilim suceeding muslim by the church and the Igbo youth. It came to him as a shock. He doesnt even know how to convert it to a party because he doesnt have the talent of organizing people and coordinate them.People have always been doing it for him.

The biggest political miscalculation of Peter obi, was joining ADC.. Even a non politician knows ATIKU would never step down for him. Obi has bad advisers.

He said,

There is a massive campaign among some northerners, particularly supporters of Atiku Abubakar, Nasir El-Rufai and some people that call themselves Elite Buharists that they will work against Dr Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso. They believe that there was a great opportunity to remove Tinubu from office and return power to the north, but that Kwankwaso is sabotaging that opportunity by attempting to split votes.

These people have been spreading all kinds of conspiracy theories that Kwankwaso is working for Bola Tinubu and that's why the Kano State governor defected to the APC. They say that Kwankwaso has struck some kind of deal with APC so that he would become president in 2031.

They say that they are going to work against Kwankwaso in the north and they want to see how he will sell Peter Obi in the north.
Does these conspiracies even make sense. If we are to concede to the idea that Kwankwaso has struck a deal and is now working for the president by splitting the opposition votes. Will working against Kwankwaso not same as working for Tinubu also.

Any vote against Kwankwaso is a vote against the opposition and that is all in Tinubu's favour. So i ask, who loses at the end of it all

Go to page 3 of this thread, read it from top to bottom, you'll find the people that made these claims, then you can go and ask them.

Why Bianca? Can you explain why you think she's a good fit for the highest office in the land or what do you mean? I can relate with the likes of Prof. Soludo. Madam NOI is my preferred choice though smiley

aswani:
Once more, I am not APC. For worth it's worth, I have been on here for over 10 years, not once have I shown any President Tinubu or APC affiliations.

My position is unchanged, the entire political class, President Tinubu, Peter Obi, Atiku, Kwankwaso et al need removing from politics as they have nothing to offer the common person.

I am arderntly awaiting a new class, prominent amongst of which will be Bianca and Prof Soludo and either of which I support to love my great country forward.

You are the one emotionally beclouded by your Obidient status to be unable to see the woods from the trees as to how much Peter Obi's stock has fallen.

People, including Ndigbo too, no longer have that "he is different let's try him" feeling, it is now overwhelmingly "so he was one of them all along, shiorr". Momentum dead.

It shows the state of things whereby despite President Tinubu not been seen in a favourable light as you have alluded to, the opposition are so disparate, they are unable to take advantage.

Finally, even though Peter Obi himself has not insulted anyone, his refusal to acknowledge his Obidients do and to call them to order counts against him.

In what way?

By ignoring what I was talking about and going off on a tangent to talk about something different.

He exposed something, his inability to keep to a discussion without conflating matters. But then again, as an Obidient, that doesn't surprise me at all.

Truthfully, the Igbo are entitled to produce a Nigerian president so long as they identify as Nigerians. But a lot needs to be done. First, there must be greater respect for other ethnic groups and a more accommodating approach in national politics. Second, they need to present a candidate with a proven record of competence and leadership, not the current content creator, who faced heavy criticism as governor and has shown little ability to manage internal party crises. Nigeria’s challenges are complex and shaped by ethnic differences and competing interests, so any successful candidate must be able to navigate those realities.
grin this advice is coming too late as those that need to take lessons from it are not even ready to take responsibility for their uncultured and uncouth behaviour which as been one of the reason the rest of the ethnic nationalities don’t trust them with power and unfortunately their pride and ego won’t still let them see this and sadly they will remain in political wilderness and continue crying of marginalisation grin

Whether you're talking LP or NNPC or PVC, you're talking about Peter Obi's votes + Kwankwaso's votes.

You're talking about the people that will get up from their homes on election day and vote for Peter Obi and Kwankwaso over Tinubu and Atiku

So you think that someone who voted for Peter Obi in 2023, after seeing how Tinubu has performed, will go and put their votes for Tinubu?

As in, you weren't convinced when they were hyping Tinubu in 2023, now you're convinced after seeing his performance?

More people have probably left him than those who joined him for specific personal benefits, that's the point.

One thing we know is that over 80% of Nigerians have lost rather than benefiting from Tinubu, and people know it's going to get worse. They also know that this was you guys hyped Buhari for 8 years, only to say later he messed up the economy. People know these things.
You are not talking objectively

In what way has Tinubu failed. Tell us instead of just yapping emotionally upandan

Primarily because she is very young and, despite close ties with President Tinubu, I believe she is strong willed enough not to be beholden to him or any of the other politicians.

She will bring a fresh air to things as a young Ndigbo female and has a name to protect.

My opinion as I might be wrong.

grin my brother you can’t give what you don’t have…….gringory is a dullard and lack strategy and tact…….even a novice in politics knew their was no pathway for him in ADC……but his halleluya boys made so much noise about his movement to ADC and ignore the fact that he was setting himself up to be used by Atiku, we all told them, but they were so clouded by delusion and still basking in the euphoria of their little win in 2023 they felt that as given them an edge to bargain for power grin

APC why are you so obsessed with what the Obidient movement does?

APC is in crisis mode. Peter Obi being on the ballot was their worst nightmare.

First, Tinubu delays his trip abroad on hearing that PO joined NDC, something he has never done with the level of senseless murders and insecurity in the country.

This same PO that made Tinubu delay his trip, Tinubu has never mentioned him in any of his criticisms, he rather kept criticizing Atiku. This tells you one thing, it was deliberate. The target on ADC was Peter Obi not Atiku. He was very careful not to mention PO so that people won't know PO was the target.

Now that PO left, they're no longer interested in de-registering or destroying ADC
Tinubu never delayed his trip. Stop lying abeg. It doesn't help your brand or the man you support. Shebi una claim 10m members in 5 minutes. Stick to that

Peter Obi has never shown any level of political intelligence since he came to national politics.

I wonder how he won the votes that made him became governor twice in Anambra

Those were votes in support of Chief Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, who anointed him.

Since he left APGA, Mr Peter Obi has not been able to win major elections in Anambra in which he sponsored candidates.

In 2017 he sponsored Oseloka Obaze (his former secretary to the state government) in the Anambra governorship election, but Obaze was beaten by Willie Obiano of APGA.

In 2021 he sponsored Val Ozigbo, but he was beaten by Charles Soludo of APGA.

In 2025 he sponsored George Moghalu, but he was beaten by Charles Soludo of APGA.

His candidates were also beaten in the bye-election.

The guy still fit win 2027.
If wishes were horses, beggars would ride. The problem with many people is they put wishful thinking above being objective.

If you sit down for 5 mins to reason the same question I was asking in 2023 you will realize with the current STRUCTURE PO has it's impossible for him to become president (I did not say win). The constitution says apart from winning simple majority, you must also have the spread (that is get at least 25% of the votes in 2/3 of the states, i.e 25)

Instead of him to work on getting the structure that can give him the spread they rather said "structure of criminality" Out of the about 177k polling units in Nigeria, PO could not get 1 person, I mean just 1 person to serve as agent for him in over 50k of those poling units. is it now ghosts that will vote for him in those units? or if they want to steal his votes in those units who will prevent that or who will document the stealing for court cases later.

Let's tell ourself the truth for once, he doesn't have the structure to become the president of Nigeria, he needs a party with the structure and the spread to achieve that.

Thank you for your attention to this matter
