Did the people tell him they want his money. Why do we belittle ourselves this much as citizens and still expect these people in office to respect us. Political office is not the venue of a bazaar or food bank.

He should keep his money and do the work he was elected to do. To represent his people in all matters if life and decent living. Many more things than can be bought with money. He should do his job or leave and let others try.

Political office is not a charity organisation. It is where social malaise is repaired, where things that have gone wrong in/with society are made right so that the man citizen is able to aspire, prosper and be made secure.

In the actual sense of it, the nuance of sound leadership is that you don't know it exists. If your engine is running smooth you don't hear or feel it. If your heart is working well you don't know it is there.

When a politician makes a lot of noise and is desperate to be noticed know that he is compromising seriously and you have to take notice. Thus if he has to gather you round a table to demand to fill your begging bowls know that he is mismanaging your economy and his tokenism is merely a Pontius Pilate.

Let us build ourselves up in the knowledge of what is rightfully ours, what is expected of those we entrust with authority and how to make this democracy work for our good. By closing our eyes to sentiment and the kind of drama these people display to hoodwink us
