that's the problem, those two states are largely homogenous with majorly Yoruba indigenes but Rivers has different major tribes with their own proud big men who will want to why they must all bow down to an Ikwerre man. It's just not feasible in the long term and it's bound to cause problems down the line

Incorrect.

Kogi state is a mini Nigeria of sorts. Its population is not homogeneous.

The indigenes are mostly (roughly speaking) of Igala extraction.
