Finally swapped to physical sim. How can I open up the sim slot area. My people have thrown away the carton and with it that precious tool... Any other means?

I have the m30 and it doesn't serve the purpose I need it for. I want to be able to connect to the main router using Wi-Fi and extend the Internet using LAN. That is what I actually need

just look for a used airtel m30 mifi(as low as 6k on Facebook marketplace) and use it for this purpose but can only extend using wired option, not wireless.

Was able to resolve this. Physical sim didn't connect using my x25 pro.

Unheard of, that ODU SIM no work inside X25pro. You sure say the swap was successful and your ODU isn't in fact still using the eSIM?

not possible, check the sim registration properly.

I've literally been using my ODU in my X25pro for almost a year. I dumped my ODU and don't even know where it is again.

It didn't work, not even 1kb was loaded though it was active.

Had to go find the Allen key to insert the sim in the ODU and started working immediately. Although this morning network situation is back to being terrible.

If you have ever had to reset your X25pro, be aware you'd then need to select external Sim in the sim settings.

If you selected the external Sim and internet didn't work, it has to be something else, like some more settings or Airtel and your location still doing you dirty, and not X25pro.

Hello everyone, please what can I do to this my Airtel ODU ZLT X17U 5G Router? I'm based in Osogbo and the network hasn't been good at all. Some times, I get 100kbps as the maximum speed.

I have changed it's location twice and it still didn't affect the speed.

Please, @NSEStudent, @Fuckboys, @Unfaized and others, what exactly do you recommend can be done to it?

I'm contemplating unlocking it, but I don't know if that would work.

Looks like a location issue and probably not the fault of the ODU. In any case, try selecting 3G only and see if it helps. Also, call 300 and complain to their supervisors.

Thank you. I'll call the CC even though I've been to an Airtel Office here and they don't seem to have a solution.

Can it be unlocked? I'm thinking of using a glo network there. Glo is really good here by the way. But I don't just want to go and buy another device if I can unlock this one to use all networks.

I haven't heard if any of the ODUs can be unlocked at the moment. You can ask around if you're in places like Alaba.

As an alternative, you can try getting X25pro from the used market as it is the most common decent router that can be unlocked.

I saw someone here selling X30, and he says it's factory unlocked? Is X25pro better than that?

Just asking questions for clarity to help me make an informed decision.

X25pro is better than X30 but X30 is very portable. X25pro is better for home use as it has LAN ports. X30 is probably the best for on-the-go users.

X30 is also factory unlocked with easy IMEI tweak to make it easier to work with any sim and any bundle. Due to its unavailability in the fairly used market, you'd very likely get it at a significantly higher price than what you can get X25pro in places like Facebook Market place.

Airtel sells X25 Max 2. The hype is probably because it can easily be tweaked. There are lots of better routers from ZTE, Huawei, and even Tozed. But those are mostly locked with no known unlock software.

I have been looking for a replacement for a while I have not gotten any. What happened to your own ? Mine the lan connecting to the ODU IC got burnt from the panel so I can't connect to it

My odu dey serve me 1000 percent , I will recommend it any time any day .. more than 15 ppl don buy odu because of me and they are enjoying it

I think the zlt always develop fault on the long run .. my indoor 2.4g has stopped working... What happened to your indoor unit

I use the ZLT X17U Airtel ODU. I reside around Dele Yes Sir Area.
