In my honest opinion, I think Peter Obi should stop running and make his strongest political statement by fighting the greatest battle before the war. The battle is about outwitting the other candidates to secure the presidential flag bearer ticket not banking on ethnic/ sympathy sentiments. While the war is to go against other political parties. Peter Obi should man up and face what every true president faced which is rising above all other candidates. Without that,Peter Obi is clearly not ready for the leadership of this great nation Nigeria.. My opinion. |

Bentacur007:If he cannot snatch the authority of his political party, then he might as well understand that presidential elections are not for the faint at heart.....how does he intend to rule Nigeria? |

fyneboi79:Peter Obi is not paying you shishi to vote for him either during primaries or the elections proper ![]() Al these tilumbu's crumbs chewers will have heart attack because of PO and KW before 2027 in Jesus name 😏 |

We all know the only solution to the political/electoral fraud in Bongo is everything but peaceful. I agree. He is not serious yet. And BAT will almost certainly win a reelection. If you ask why then you are probably living under a rock or with your head buried under the ground and out of touch with reality |

fyneboi79:Many of you don't even understand what's happening and I am glad you are proudly showing it here. Peter Obi stands against the principle of using money to buy delegates who will vote for you during primaries, that's why he left PDP and ADC. Delegates are bribed with USD. That man has said that several times, but it seems you people aren't paying attention. He has said that if he uses money to buy delegates and buy votes and gets elected, he will have to steal as much as he has to recoup his money. That's exactly one of the reasons we have bad leaders. |

Obi is not serious about any contest, he is after former presidential candidate title |

SeeWahala:It's not about money or giving shishi or bribe alone. It's showing up as a leader, taking decisive actions as leaders do. Standing tall, making major moves not hiding behind tribal sentiments as the OP said. I have said these repeatedly, SE presidency is a welcome idea, however it's hard to convince people now Obi is the right candidate not just for SE alone but for Nigeria as a whole. Certainly other men who are already leading in the East are even more bankable than him. Maybe as a VP OR Occupying the Highest office. Nigerians can attest to what those men are doing in that region presently even if it is not nationally televised.. Strong men who knows what it is to lead against any odds and without question Obi is not cut from their cloth. Nigeria is not a simple country to handle. It's too complicated for a man of his aptitude. The most populated black nation in the entire planet, a country of over 200 million people, which majority are already pissed with the system it's runs on and not to say the least but probably one of the most lawless country in the world and you want to handle the key to a man of visible weaknesses?. Collectively, we should aspire to do better than that. As much as I do not follow Tinubu, however I still regard his political career. And I'd rather have a man like him in Aso Rock over Obi who runs from challenges everytime, even at the slightest sign of any discomfort, his habits of throwing in the towel is unbecoming. While I respect his personal achievement as a man, however as a president he will be a lightweight, he has never been more than a glorified manager in his career, and most definitely not a man who is born to rule. People who rule, rule.. it's just that simple. All the nonsense of he no deh give shishi is just weak excuses. There are men whose life principles are based on integrity and strong moral codes that will run and still be considered a man of seriousness, and will be respectfully treated not only by peers but also opponents... Obi should either step up or step out, and stop trying to emotionally blackmail the nation. |

fyneboi79:You are one of the problems of Nigeria. PO has refused to bribe his way to the presidential ticket which is what you term not being ready. He got over 6 million votes last time without bribe yet your likes still talk trash. The person that is ready to rule Nigeria that you voted for, how has his governance been? Park well |

| Re: Peter Obi Should Stop Running by lionshare: 11:03am On May 07 |
SmartPolician:Under the new Electoral Act, primary elections are now conducted through direct primaries, meaning party members vote instead of delegates. That makes the practice of handing out money to a small group of delegates largely ineffective, because you cannot bribe everyone. |

fyneboi79:How is he suppose to do that. You want him to share money to delegates in primaries. Tell Tinubu to do free and fair election in primaries without bribing delegates and see if he will defeat obi in any primary wven atiku |

Hightablevoice2:How is Obi blackmailing you emotionally? Secondly, obi style of leadership is different from what you are used to, it's the difference that makes you detest him, Obi is been labeled all sort of names because he choose a path nobody will ever thread upon, he choose ideology over personal interests. How many of The SE leaders haven gotten more votes than Obi? Just mention one? Yet you claim facts and figures should be used to judge instead and yet all facts and figures points to Obi that's he best leader so far in the SE in terms of having electoral value and nation-wide acceptance. Everyone wants to follow the least path of resistance to achieve their goals. And obi said no, that he would rather hold on to his personal convictions and ideology than to do otherwise and expect the same results of looting the national Treasury dry. As for me, I like Obi's type of leadership, why? Because he understands that without ideology, we are nothing. Can you just leave obi alone with his type of leadership and concentrate on yours? |
