How can you promise 24-hour power? What do you know about the technicalities of power generation, transmission and distribution? Nigeria should be begging Professor Barth Nnaji to return as a power minister. That man is a living testament that 24/7 power supply is no rocket science |

Rode out 1million meters across 300 million households. Just as I was discussing with my friend in Nigeria this morning about the former minister of power, who has been in the system for 2 and a half years and has failed to deliver the mandate his oga at the top promised Nigerians. He didn't leave as soon as he knew things wouldn't align with the OGA mandate. After much budget paddling and internal embezzling, he left like a thief in the night, just as the passenger told us, allegedly. Now this man is saying he can't promise Nigerians, but your oga explicitly told Nigerians that if he fails in the power sector, no voting for him. Why is he projecting for another election when he should just bow and leave as a man of integrity? The same Tinubu who borrowed to install solar power stations in all the car ports and the Aso Rock building. We have military barracks buildings collapsing, a federal university hostel building dilapidated, federal hospitals in rural areas lacking beds, hospital equipment, and professional personnel. All they do is build 1000km roads, leading to Zamfara, Maiduguri, Calabar, when they can actually build rails to connect these long-distance states, when they can actually provide inter-city trams, when they can actually project a better usage of the existing federal roads and put them to other uses. The bolded shows that Electricity is functioning in the particular country. Because trams use electricity cables connected around the city to function. Without trams, Nigeria will never have full electricity functioning in that country. You think Nigeria population is still around 200M , delusional lionshare: |

He is not serious. If the president says I will provide 24/7 electricity, who are you to say otherwise? Who is there to say something contrary to the Jagaban, the GOAT?🤡😂 I think you are joking with your job sir because when the opposition starts talking about this, his sycophants will say it was you who changed the promise, not the Jagaban.

nwakibie3:Something that 150 million Nigerians have already? Why do you think that Tinubu is borrowing more than Buhari and PDP presidents, if not that he is spending it on power supply for us ![]() https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lba6Uf64Ogc |

There's so much behind this power crisis in this country than meets the eyes... The forces against Nigeria to have constant electricity is greater what anyone can imagine. |

Better go and call the promoters of the new superhighways to sort that out. They are effective at getting the attention of government. |

Tinubu should sack this guy already, can you imagine how petulant a whole fed minister can be,making excuses even before starting the job.....Nigeria needs nothing but excellence in that sector and anything short of 24/7 electricity is a failure.....best you resign or ask to be redeployed before you go and disgrace yourself and your entire family. PBAT till 31. |

Tinubu already promised constant electricity. Nigerians are eagerly waiting for him to fulfill that promise, so your opinion is irrelevant at this point. |

Aso Rock To Disconnect From National Grid In March – Permnent Secretary - Politics - Nairaland https://www.nairaland.com/8616786/aso-rock-disconnect-national-grid#138441151 👇 REPOST Meta said you should talk to your neighbours as if they can hear you. That's how you know artificial intelligence from real. Have we tried talking to our governments? How Nigerians became comfortable with this thing is insane, some people use industrial generators that work with diesel. Now everyone is going solar too because of government negligence. Tinubu himself changed the power supply at the Villa to solar. GCFR - > Generator Commander of the Federal Republic. https://www.tiktok.com/video/7532602447609564421 Generator noise is not the loudest of your problems, it is the fumes that are the silent killers and probably one of the reasons for the increase in cancer cases in Nigeria without us knowing. Polynuclear Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs) are a major component of fuel generator fumes. Carcinogenicity of these compounds has long been established. Those pollutants are not safe for your air and direct contact with your skin, water and environment. Imagine sitting behind the exhaust of a vehicle. That's what we are doing to ourselves. If you cannot sleep well because of the noise, your health is affected. If you cannot hear well, because of the noise, your hearing is affected. If you cannot breathe well because of the smoke, your health is affected. If you have the money, switch to solar but what sense does that make if you still live in an environment where your neighbours still use generators? You see why Nigerians need to solve this problem as a collective instead of doing I beta pass my neighbour competition. Who did this to us All I want to say is they don't even care about us

LabStores:There is nothing. It is just about wise, strategic investing. If there is anything mysterious it is the phantom that the country should have all it's power eggs in one basket called natural/petroleum gas and the vain hope that it can piped throughout Nigeria successful and efficiently to power the tens if not hundreds of power stations that need to be built when gasoline has not flowed in our pipeline network for thirty odd years. Most countries have a strategic power mix to meet varying conditions and situations, no less power security and in this regime of free market if we have all our power feedstock priced at international oil and gas rates, one lunatic is the west or east can start a war and ruin us economically. |

anonimi:You know the disaster is that while APC was able to hold the number 1 to account and press their neck, they've been able to muzzle the press and bully the citizens so that you can't ask their king any questions. Tinubu, not Adelabu should be the one responding but they have ascribed this mystic power to themsleves and created a godlike image around him so that they will not he held accountable for anything at all. The hypnosis is going on.

It's becoming crystal clear that the problem of Nigeria is foundationally inbuilt. Many who come into the system have good intentions. But the destructive structure that hindered the progress doesn't allow any meaningful change. This is the bitter truth. The parties involved find it difficult to speak out. The turnaround maintenance of the Nigerian refineries is a perfect example. |
