You know the disaster is that while APC was able to hold the number 1 to account and press their neck, they've been able to muzzle the press and bully the citizens so that you can't ask their king any questions. Tinubu, not Adelabu should be the one responding but they have ascribed this mystic power to themsleves and created a godlike image around him so that they will not he held accountable for anything at all.
Oga people are holding him accountable. Forget all this gragra online. Enter streets your eyes go clear. He will only be there if he rigs his way in.

He doesn't have to rig the elections when there will not be any strong candidate for a UNITED opposition to be voted for as an alternative to the disaster in Aso rock, who is worsening APC extreme poverty and insecurity shege than his cluelessly expired Buhari did.

Abi who is the alternative that can get enough votes to defeat him huh

Another post for you all to know your politicians are eediots for not giving you power 24/7👇
If the politicians are ALLOWED to emerge from among Nigerians to serve in public office at the local, state and federal levels in both legislative and executive branches, then what does it say about us the people?

That we are equally eediots as the politicians, more OR less eediots than them huh

Do you think that is because we are simply unevolved tribalistic people with little or no expectations from government in the employment of well paid civil servants for the provision of services and utilities?

There is nothing. It is just about wise, strategic investing. If there is anything mysterious it is the phantom that the country should have all it's power eggs in one basket called natural/petroleum gas and the vain hope that it can piped throughout Nigeria successful and efficiently to power the tens if not hundreds of power stations that need to be built when gasoline has not flowed in our pipeline network for thirty odd years.

Most countries have a strategic power mix to meet varying conditions and situations, no less power security and in this regime of free market if we have all our power feedstock priced at international oil and gas rates, one lunatic is the west or east can start a war and ruin us economically.
Those countries consider power as ENERGY SECURITY. It is part of security but here we are still struggling to secure lives, so they don't even care about property.

This Temu Power Minister Take This Advice

“China SHOULD be Given The Opportunity to BUILD and MANAGE Nigeria’s Electricity SECTOR for 20 YEARS, RECOVER its INVESTMENT THROUGH STABLE POWER SUPPLY, then HAND it BACK to Nigeria.”

If I am confirmed as the Minister of Power, I will not stand here and say tomorrow [we will have 24 hours of power].

But whenever I tell you about a very high standard [of service], I would be sure that visible improvement is seen across the country in the shortest time possible.

I promise that we’ll reduce uncertainty for Nigeria with clarity. Distribution is inconsistent, and even if we misalign, it will cause a lot of issues.

Metering gap continues to erode trust. Today we have 44% metering gap in Nigeria. But our government is doing extremely well. In the last one year we’ve rolled out over 1 million meters across [the country]. We need to ramp up and make sure that we make more progress.

The governance of this sector remains under pressure. In simple terms, we are trying to build a viable power system on a firmer operational and financial structure.
I cannot promise Nigerians 24 hours power but there will be a measurable improvement in the sector in the shortest possible time.

Can you pay for 24hrs power supply? Don't come back to complain about the cost o. I believe at least 12hrs power supply in a day is a good one as many Nigerians can still afford to pay for that. I currently enjoy at least 20hrs of light in my area but the amount used to recharge ain't small. There are many Nigerians who can't afford it

What is wrong in appointing the best power utilities management expat off international scouting and appointing him Minister and then making your political protege the Minister of State to protect your sentiment.

We have a long standing problem here that to me requires a radical change in the way we are going about it. We need fresh ideas and standard global practices. I don't think all these people can cut it, honestly.

When the UK had serious financial problems (some say they still do) then HEX Osborne head hunted for the very best and Mark Carney a Canadian was brought in. The work he did between 2012 and 2020 literally saved the U K from the worst of the pandemic and ensured they came out in better shape than most G7 nations

There are things a stranger will tell you that your relations will not. There is a reason why medical professionals are excised from treating close relations. Dispassion. We need it to solve some of the intransigent, pressing issues of our time, security, economy, etc.

How can you promise 24-hour power? What do you know about the technicalities of power generation, transmission and distribution?

Nigeria should be begging Professor Barth Nnaji to return as a power minister. That man is a living testament that 24/7 power supply is no rocket science
Lolz under him we where shouting up
Nepa light was worst no prepaid meter
He stole the money use it to build his own generation company tell me how a man with salary of 1.5m can build project of 426billion Naira

The forces against Nigeria to have constant electricity is greater what anyone can imagine.
Is it only electricity?
