This is bound to happen. About 2 months ago, my sister raised the issue of vendors being allowed to cook inside the Market when the rules clearly says "No Cooking withing the premises" But the Management had other ideas because of what they collect from these vendors. |

I believe an Insurance policy should be made mandatory for all our market shop owners to mitigate this kind of risk |

Men with experience in the house, I've been thinking about something and I want to be careful...I have this project 3flat dpc level with filling ongoing already and well fenced 11 block high Now I don't want to live in the same town I'm from, and I'm tired of these landlord issues; things are not going well at all right now. I've been thinking of selling off that project and building a two-bedroom flat with the money in the town where I am to those people with experience please let me know the risk involved or if it's a mistake I'm making let me know |

Lukuluku69:You see them blaming the late arrival of firefighters when majority of Nigerians have "not my portion mentality" whenever they asked them to store firefighters emergency numbers on their phones despite the fact that they like to ignore fire prevention rules |

Late response from fighters? Considering how close Tejuosho is to the fire service at Ojuelegba, this is ridiculous nlfpmod: |

Lukuluku69:What you just said right now is the problem of this beautiful and beloved country of ours, while we have laws, there are people ready to explore loopholes for their own benefit, while some will disregard the law altogether and could go any length to grease the palms of the weakened law makers. |

jojothaiv:With over 4,000+ shops (lock up, K-clamp and others in the open spaces) the market welcomes roughly 10,000+ Customers daily and of course there will he a need for food, refreshments etc and also the hazards posed by fire to other markets in Lagos, it was RESOLVED that NO COOKING OR OPEN FIRE ACTIVITIES will be allowed within the premises. This simply means for any Food Vendor with shops or K-clamp, your Cooking should be done somewhere else while you bring it in. Also, Individual Generators are not allowed and in fact, the Facility Manager are the ones selling Electricity Tokens with the premises but some 5-6 months ago, the No cooking on the premises order are being openly violated and the facility managers with their Task force are turning a blind eye to it. Conservatively, Tejuoso Market houses nothing less than #100b-#150b in people investment. That Facility should have its own Fire Fighting Dept. |
