This is because the world existed many years before Jesus came. Who was in charge during those times is a big question for those that believe Jesus is God to answer.

GOD ALMIGHTY is far greater than that description and even Bible attest to it that GOD ALMIGHTY is one and was there before Jesus.
There are no place in the Bible where Jesus said "I am GOD".
