Dying On The Job by guobe(op): 9:31pm On May 06
He was one of the security men in the establishment.

He has been working there for years just to make ends meet as alot of bills need to be paid.
His kids were still growing up with the eldest in the higher institution. He had to pay the school fees of his kids which has skyrocketed due to the policy of the Government in place from his meagre salary which does not take him home.
He kept on struggling, going to work even as he has become old and weak.

He had to struggle as there would be no food on the table if he stops working despite getting old.
Tragedy struck, he was found lying down on the floor unresponsive by a fellow security man who came to take over from him at the establishment.
His body was already swollen.
He died at the establishment.

May God not allow us to struggle at old age.
May his soul rest in peace.

Adieu.

This is why I say- don’t start a family until you are financially capable, don’t marry one wife unless you can comfortably take care of two, don’t even think of raising one child unless you have the financial capacity to raise 3.

That prayer cannot work, you have to work for your safety at old age and don't born more than your power. Like me now, I don already born three which is too much for me self.

Re: Dying On The Job by HacheNoire: 11:08am On May 08
The bitter lesson is that, the work goes-on!

Irrespective of your expertise, competence or qualifications, your employer sees you as a disposable. The moment they confirm you have stopped breathing, your replacement will be swung into action.

Morale of the story, ALWAYS prioritize your health and sanity over ANY job.

Don't work yourself to death. You are never indispensable. Knowing how you little you matter on this earth can ground you sometimes.

I once fired someone who died on the job, thinking he had left the engineering stores open and was loitering about. "Until I called his colleagues, who told me he had just died, I pointed to his slippers and clothes." But that's a story for another day.

The Nigerian system is set up in such away that if you no thief, e go hard to make am legitily. Rip to the dead.
A country where politicians keep looting public funds meant for the masses, is no hope.
The bad thing is everyone is involved, they only complain when it's not in their favour

Updated. It was In Industry Series where Hari died in the office because his Asian background believed in hard work and showing up to bosses that you are working. He died in the office, HR announced his death like nothing while work was going on. In fact, HR said they didn't want to cause a scene when the ambulance came to pick his dead body. He overworked himself to death and died on the job. Once, HR had to tell him to leave the office and come back because the system was showing that he hadn't swiped his card out for days shocked
Investment bankers who saw this scene told their accounts of how people actually do this in real life. For my video, HBO adapted that story from a real life story.

This is no security.
The only guarantee you have is to direct your government aright because it affects everything at anytime.

You may wait and wait, observe and calculate, but whenever you decide to marry and have children, or even if you decide to remain alone till old age, a bad government can arise and still ruin you at anytime they are elected.

Even if your doctors have given you months to a few years to live, your social security, your healthcare, the value of your pension can all be taken away if you cannot as a society fight to keep your future.

Folks who thought they were made just a few years ago are languishing. Folks who took early retirement a decade ago wished they never had. Just one bad government.

Just one bad government.

If you die on the job, you'll be replaced very same day. Personal welfare and family comes first

Rest in peace champ. To everyone that is working legit to put food on the table, keep on the good work.lt is trying times for most of us,but try to take care of yourself.Your sudden demise might cause a burden to those you went working tirelessly to support.Do some exercise every week. Some push ups, squats, lunges, plyometric exercises at home, if you can't go to a gym. These are beneficial for your overall wellness.Cardio exercises like sprints, brisk walk, jogging, cycling are good for the heart. Most of those exercises won't take up to 30min of your time. Most importantly, cut the food intake.

TRue. On the flip side if you marry late because of money, you will retire and still have children in school. Men, any how you see it, it is not funny.
