‎Dr. Hallowed Oluwadara Olaoluwa is recognized as the youngest Ph.D. holder in Mathematics in Africa and one of the youngest Ph.D. holders in any field in Africa.

‎He stands out particularly for his extraordinary ability to run parallel degree programmes in Mathematics and Physics at both BSc and MSc levels, earning top distinctions (First Class / Distinction) in all four degrees while graduating at exceptionally young ages.

‎He was born on September 27, 1989, in Bangui, Central African Republic to Nigerian parents from Ekiti State who are missionaries outside Nigeria.

‎He completed primary and secondary education with four double promotions.
‎He passed the French Baccalauréat (A’ Levels equivalent) in Sciences at age 14 (one of the youngest in the Central African Republic at the time).
‎
‎At the University of Bangui, he simultaneously pursued and completed two full B.Sc. programmes in Mathematics and Physics.

‎He graduated in 2007 at age 18 with
‎B.Sc. Mathematics: First Class Honours and B.Sc. Physics: First Class Honours.

Excellent achievements. I pray aside lecturing, his knowledge is put into more groundbreaking inventions because lecturing alone is really not enough with this brain. Without being told, it will be patriotism that brought him back to Nigeria because Nigerian lecturers are not receiving any serious pay and I am sure he would have been receiving bigger offers outside Nigeria.

I would have rather preferred to read about the number of engineering machines of industrial grade and standard he has innovated or invented with his genius brain. We already have too many professors who are just bookwarm without meaningful impact in the Nigerian industrial sector. Congralutions to him though.

He is a mathematician and a theoretical Physicists and not a fabricating Engineer.

If you understand what these two fields he holds a doctorate in entail, you won't be posting this.

Mathematicians and Physicists ask questions and are not in the business of solving problems.

Without them, you will not even know a problem exists because they are the ones who ask the right questions and they have the mindset that every problem will eventually be solved and if it can't be solved, then the problem doesn't exists.

Take the Manhattan project as an example, the entire atomic bomb was created by Physicists and mathematicians not in white robes and hard hats working at building the bomb itself but from blackboards and string of equations.

When they solved an issue, they passed it on to the engineers who themselves did not even know what they were working on.
