omo i don tire like this. My Bread inverter, barely-noticeable noise and beast mode stopped working last month and the support center just dey drag their feet so I got this Sako inverter.

The thing dey shout non-stop even under 100w load.

I no fit sleep

When I tell people I rarely depend on Warrantee + Guarantee + all the other sweet talks they use to convince you into taking ya money, e be like say I dey weird.

I love the fact TransformerLess inverters are much more energy efficient than others BUT still yet, if I were to buy an inverter today for personal USE, except Im getting at dirt CHEAP price equivalent to a steal, na still standard Transformer based inverter I go buy.

By the time you pass throughe nough stress, spend money + mistakenly press calculator, you either comot money fix am for down the street electrician or sell am as Scrap or to be repaired.

They ain't any different from Insurance companies; they get ya hopes very HIGH so you pick the highest premium you can afford even if it means selling ya kidney BUT when it comes time to redeem, they begin looking for ways to disQualify you.

If the issue is BMS related as I presume, then except with expert knowledge, you alone might not be able to fix it yourself.

Some BMS are easy to wake up or reset BUT there are those that would lock out the moment certain things occur and when they do, it's mostly otilo.

Either way, so long the cells are still in order, it can be fixed.

But @Osayuwamwen claimed that his 4.2kva Luxsun inverter doesn't make a noise, I am yet to believe him anyway, because it's in the same category with the noise maker inverter

Chief, no offence but the more I read your responses in this forum, the more I picture u in my mind as one very frail old man with walking stick dat mostly just sits on a rocking-chair most of the day.
You prefer Tubular battery, u prefer Transformer Inverter, not bad dou. U just stick to the old stuffs mayb because dey seem more durable and straightforward. Sure me say ur TV for house na CRT Tube Tv abi? Or at best Plasma TV?

12v system has it's perks, it's PROs and CONs.

There's reason there are other voltages higher than 12v and except you technical enough OR have personal experience, you no go understand.

whhat I told someone who mesaged me on Monday about buying a nnew 12v inverter, I told her to buy a used 24v inverter, then use the cost difference and buy extra battery. Possible add small change to it if need be.

A lot of times, 12v system would make you spend money you trying not to spend. Except of course you know what you doing.

Some go even spend money buying brand new items for 12v system and in less than 2 years or even within 1 year, are looking to upgrade to something higher.

It's always funny wen I read this kindda complaint. Is it that y'all keep ur Inverters beside u on ur bed while u sleep? Or mayb just use the tin to do pillow? I no just understand o. Cos even when my Haisic is on bulk charge and fan's blazing, once I enter my sitting room on my fan, I dnt hear it again o; and I installed it in a small corridor just next to my sitting room, no door in between. I guess its either y'all hav very sensitive ears or those Inverters actually use "OX" Industrial Fan for cooling. What occasionally troubles me (especially in the midnite) is the loud beep from the inverter when power is restored or cut. Of which I'll soon switch off one of these days.

For the BEEP sound, use settings to disable it. It's one of the few first things I do aafter installing any such inverters.

As for the noise, some of those inverters are noisy Ooo. Add to it some houses are small, most have 6-inch walls, plus who knows, majority are in selfContain / single room hence have closer proximity to the inverters.
Another is, a lot of us don't wanna hear PIM so immagine what happens when Inverte come dey blow like 10HP Vaccum blower. Some go dey even sound like that alarm wey dey alert when NEPA bring light.

Even when sending Bulk emails, a single server sometimes doesn't make as much noise as some of these inverters. Most Oyinbo get basements but wetin we get na passage / corridor if we lucky enough. Those luckier to have secure balconies for installation no go tooo understand

This ain't how things are done. You ought to have ensured these things match bbefore even getting either the cable or extra solar panels. I recall asking you this earlier.

Glad you at least listened on the cable even though we suggested 6mm if you not willing to go 10mm which would have been much future proof.

Now kindly share with us stickker on body of ya charge controller / hybrid inverter

Also inform / remind us on how many solar panels you got and their wattages

I noticed ur Haisic unit is the version with double cooling fans. Mine has just one central cooling fan so will likely be quieter.
I'am one of the few pple in the world that sleeps better in a stably noisy environment. Like wen Generator is on or standing fan or fridge etc (anytin dt givs off stable and unwavering sound). Not like music or pple chattering. Lol.
With my Inverter on, e still dey sweet me wen my neibour leave him Gen on till midnite wen I wan sleep

Read it word for word and apply it. If you apply it, and there is still an issue, then there is a problem.

The problem doesn’t matter with the panels you will buy (cos you’ll eventually need it).

Seeing below screen shot reminds me of the matter. Op just needs scrap that 200w solar panel and buy at least 2pcs of 350w solar panels as minimum. then ensure the charge controller is MPPT as any solar panel above 200w is above not meant for 12v system and using a PWM charge controller would seriously limit things BUT just saw OP already mentioned to have MPPT controller.

Not scrapping the 200w solar panel and instead adding 2 more of it is just fixing the issue for now WHILE creating another for later because OP would move from having 1pcs of 200w solar panel to 3pcs of 200w solar panels. Would suggest OP starts correcting some errors now

Thanks Chief. Thing is, I want to disable it but then I don't. Somtimes d beep dey make my heart skip wen everywer quiet for midnite and Nepa bring lite but den I need it to always knw wen Nepa bring lite. If I can reduce it dou, it'll be fine.

A lot of things are relative abi you never hear say Chicken is epensive depends on who price am.

What's noisy to you might not be to the next person. Also you both might not have installed it in samme location or have same space. I fit dey for 1 room while you dey for selfContained apartmment or flat or duplex where you have enough luxury to install far away from where you spend most time.

Once bought a phone (when I was trying to see how to break away from sonyXperia), this phone was lagging so much I couldn't use it for more than 1-day. I sold it to someone else who never had such issue. Probably because they're used to such experience whereAs I'm not. Make I no use money buy phone wey go chhange my name to Patience

Also that those inverters are mostly in same category, doesn't mean there wouldn't be subtle PROs amongst them

I didn't use those ones o, my inverter would have burned with those low quality fans.

I had to go hunting for a fan with high CFM.
The higher the CFM of the fan the lower it needs to spin very fast to attain cooling and the lower the fan noise.

A lot of times, most of us follow trends. My kinda person o go south because everyone including GOD is going that route. I mostly would because I got reason why.

Now I use both Lithium or leadAcid based batteries for cleints. I just ask questions, analyze annd come to conclusion.

Atimes, one needs consider how much resources (time and money inclusive) they willing to expend. imagine you're very busy or a business, would yyou be willing to suffer downtime unnecessarily. Look the 2 people having issues with their lithium based batteriies, look thhe ones having inverter related issues, etc.

There's a far away neigbour whom said, you either buy hybrid inverter or transformerbased inverter. I gave him several PROs and CONs of each BUT ended with 2 core reasons he should think very very very well.

He's about spending 500,000 naira on a used inverter and would be more if He chooses to buy a transformer based inverter becauuse thhen he would need an external charge controller. I told him, Sir I see how very difficult is's been for you to raised these funds. You wouldn't want to spend it on something that should it go bad, Chances of successful reapirs is low.
if you choose this option, it's difficult to go bad annd when it does, successful repairs are very very very assured BUT look what you would be missing out on. All those sweet things you would be missing out on are available on the Hybrid inverter BUT then see what you could be facing.

Me go take time encourage + discourage you so you know what you getting into

If person like me comot money buy something today, I pray to never have to do so again till end of the world. I no get money so I rather spend more for once THAN spend low multiple times.

TVs and including my external monitors are all LED. it's all about finding the balance.

I currently run both 12v system (no inverter) and 48v system (for our servers mostly and few very heavy loads). Have even thought about going 96v or building a custom inverter BUT cost of copper in the market kinda humbled me. Don't forget, I'm frugal + paranoid by default

lithium based batteries would give you more while occuupying lesser space. it's good BUT for we wey dey count every penny we struuggled to get, I rather dedicate a room for batteries that are reliable and gives me more handsOff setAndForget...

you could even leave the inverter OPEN rather than covering it's casing, then find where is very airy (e.g near your window) and put it there. Majority of them would survive without fan

Open the inverter (hopefully you're aware that voids ya warantee if at all you would be given any), look for that beep speaker, often black and very small with a dot hole at the middle, take small paper tape cover that hole, the smaller the space, the lower the sound. if compeltely covered, you hardly go hear anything at all.

Still check ya manual to see what options you got in terms of how long and frequency of beeps and under what situations

House, which inverter has the best after sale support in Nigeria in terms of availability of parts and repairs? I have an EASUN 6.2kW inverter with damaged control board which I have not been able to get repaired. I could not even get the control board. The makers are not even willing to provide it, even at a cost.
