He is a mathematician and a theoretical Physicists and not a fabricating Engineer.

If you understand what these two fields he holds a doctorate in entail, you won't be posting this.

Mathematicians and Physicists ask questions and are not in the business of solving problems.

Without them, you will not even know a problem exists because they are the ones who ask the right questions and they have the mindset that every problem will eventually be solved and if it can't be solved, then the problem doesn't exists.

Take the Manhattan project as an example, the entire atomic bomb was created by Physicists and mathematicians not in white robes and hard hats working at building the bomb itself but from blackboards and string of equations.

When they solved an issue, they passed it on to the engineers who themselves did not even know what they were working on.
Thank you for the clarification. What will you call Michael Faraday, Nikola Tesla, Sir Isaac Newton, Thomas Edison, Albert Estein who held patent n refrigeration systems and precision instruments? These people have something in common: they combine theoretical knowledge with practical problem solving skills and they used maths and physics to explain nature and made inventions to improve the society. You may be right but I am not wrong.

Our youths should emulate this. What makes one happy about this is that he not one of the foreign manufactured. He's full African manufactured and decided to transfer his knowledge to fellow citizens.

ISAAC NEWTON was an Engineer? Tesla was an Engineer? Leonardo da Vinci? Archimedes and Blaise Pascal? They were not engineers but mathematicians and Physicists. Our approach to knowledge is what differentiates an inventor from a non-inventor. When you take a step further to connect theory to real life, you can become an inventor. You can have the knowledge and apply it and become an inventor. A lecturer and an inventor don't necessarily have to be two different kinds of persons. A lecturer can be an inventor.

Lol. Nigeria they use professors to rig elections. They call them presiding officers
Is there a law that even says it MUST be Professors or Lecturers that will be Returning or Presiding Officers?
Some cases, it seems it’s Vice Chancellors of Federal Universities

This needs to be addressed

In stoic esoteric teachings, there are three (3) distinguished fields of study reserved for the deepest of minds.

They are;

1, History
2, Philosophy
3, Physics

A perfect score of 5.00 CGPA in Physics is genius and sage status.

Isaac Newton did not invent shit.

Da Vinci was an eclectic genius but was not a scientist. He was more of a problem solver.

Only Tesla fits the bill as both a theorist and an inventor.

Excellent achievements. I pray aside lecturing, his knowledge is put into more groundbreaking inventions because lecturing alone is really not enough with this brain. Without being told, it will be patriotism that brought him back to Nigeria because Nigerian lecturers are not receiving any serious pay and I am sure he would have been receiving bigger offers outside Nigeria.
Folks like him should be at research institutions.

Newton did invent the reflecting telescope so you're wrong with that at least then he discovered a way to quantify many theoretical concepts including binomial theorem and fluxion.
