I laughed at that those saying she is an adult loool. Teacher and lecturer caught in heavy hanndedness in administration of disciplinary measures on students placed under their care are dealt with based on the law.

I got you, but even as an adult, you're still under my roof. I believe there are measures of discipline, and the higher the offence, the higher the punishment. When an adult misbehaves and fails to take correction, you discipline her like an adult. Lack of proper discipline by parents is a contributory factor to youths misbehaviour these days

They are not claiming to be adult, they are adults. Adults is well defined in each law of countries all over the world.

That they are adults does not erase the fact that they have parents and they remain the children of those that gave birth to them.

That they grow up to be come adults at home does not make them cease from being children of their parents

Intent is something i always look out for. Have ever have to take a decision and even while the process of that decision, you still cry cos you know you dont want it the way its going down. I know the father has no intent to see her hurt like that. As a child you can get injured in the perocess of being deciplined.
