The United States intelligence community agreed that Tehran was not developing a nuclear weapon before the 40-day war on Iran, says a former US “counterterrorism” chief.

Joe Kent, the Trump administration’s former National Counterterrorism Center (NCC) director, asserted in a post on X on Thursday that the US intelligence community agreed before the war that “Iran wasn’t developing a nuclear weapon.”

Kent added, “The narrative & agenda spun by a foreign government- Israel, won the argument & forced us into this war.”

The US and Israel launched an unprovoked war on Iran on February 28, 2026, under the pretext that Tehran was developing a nuclear weapon.

You clearly don’t know OP is biased with his updates. Saudi initially refused because they weren’t consulted beforehand. The following day, after being officially informed, they granted full access.

You forgot the part where Iran retaliated by attacking 3 US navy ships, forcing them to retreat- In a war that was supposed to last a few days, with no end in sight, I think it is you who needs to wake up from your dreams. LOL

P.S. War is not only about dropping bombs, especially when you are dropping bombs on an enemy that is more willing to die for their cause than you are. Americans are feeling the negative impact of the war at home, on gas prices and cuts to funding of health care and education only to fund war. However it ends. America is in a weaker and worse place, where even their allies dont support them. Even if you dont like it, you just have to deal with it.

Isreal is far richer than Iran because Iran has been under economic sanction since 1979. Israel gets free money from the US every year ontop of that.
