I believe it was strategic .most likely obi was trying to make the statement that he is the party flag bearer and that kwankwanso will be his deputy . But kwankwanso not wearing the same and only sing his kwankwansiya cap show that he is ready for primaries .

honestly igbos should undergo political intensive from others. they were celebrating ten million voters registration by NDC with few days but forgot that majority won't even vote. they are mostly either underage and those outside Nigeria from their region. they just handed over 2027 to Tinubu on a platter of gold. Kwankwaso aim is to get the needed support from south and battle with Atiku and any APC choice in 2031. obi will never get one third of Tinubu and Atiku votes in the north in 2027. best option was for him to contest under Adc with Atiku as the presidential candidate and reach out in agreement with Atiku for one term. call out critical stakeholders across all region to witness the agreement. I just hope another prominent igbo man won't cry in 2031 when APC will be picking a south south as the vice presidential candidate and subsequently presidential candidate in 2039. politics is a game of foresight, strategy and interest.
