All because your government doesn't want you to have guns but cannot get the guns away from the outlaws.

All because your government doesn't want you to police yourselves, secure yourselves but cannot provide you security.

Fine, elections are coming soon. Let us see just how badly you desire to return home by tackling one of the two options above.

The most annoying thing is that govt are acting as if nothing is happening in this nation.
so u expect the government to perform magic where the locals themselves are supporting the bandits

Abi u want to tell me u didn't see the video of people at jilli in borno hailing n walking freely with bandits

The same thing is happening in south east with the locals supporting their own terrorists.

See u people should forget blaming government everytime n come to terms with the reality that government can only wipe out terrorists where locals cooperate with them

This one nah format?

You are earning 230k and your wife is frying groundnut. I laugh.

Even in lekki lagos, some people earn small like yours and are living fine.

Since food items seem to be expensive where you live in town, give your wife one full month of your salary to start mama put. Since the whole family will be eating from it. Then whatever she sell, you take your daily transport to work from her and watch her grow into restaurant and bar.

Always learn to thing outside the box.
restaurant and bar? So that randy men won't allow the woman rest, till she falls. When it happens to u free ur wife like that. They are satisfied with the groundnut frying, keep ur smelly idea to urself

I'm so proud of your wife. It's that aspect that cheers me up the most. Passing through difficult times with a reasonable and supportive wife is God's way of sending you help and succor... Some women become tiger and demon in such situation. May we not marry such selfish, wicked and senseless women.

Life has been tough since we moved from our village to town.

I am earning 230,000 monthly but I cannot save because of food expenses

My children that got tired of eating chicken and eggs in the village…now when my wife adds boiled egg to their food they are always very happy.

A crate of Egg here is ₦5,100
30 pieces of Egg for 7children and 2 adults
It doesn’t last up to a week. I cannot afford to buy it every week.

This was our backyard in the village. Egg used to get rotten in our kitchen because we were tired of eating.
We give God the glory.thank God for keeping you alive.
But must you eat eggs?
Adjust to life as it goes things will change for good.

This is really sad and we pray for the return of peace and tranquility to every inch of our country.

When we criticize this government, this exactly is what we mean but blind supporters would start reeling out things with zero impact on the average citizen.

For me, any government where citizens' welfare is poor is a failed government. Today, families are suffering with anguish and pains of insecurity, inflation, amidst insensitive government spendings.

Personally, I don't mind another president doing exactly what this present government is doing but allowing Tinubu to continue will be the height of disrespect to the wellbeing of the people. It'll be like, "we can make you suffer and there is nothing you can do!". We need to send him packing so that subsequent governments will know that there are consequences of ignoring the people's wellbeing.

If leaders know that people can vote them out for poor performance, they will sit up.
Anybody but APC is fine come 2027.
Re: See What Bandits Took From Me And My Family (Photos) by Eriokanmi: 11:57am On May 10
You will bounce back, insha Allah. One thing is for a leader to promise, another thing is for him to fulfill it. Please if you have access to vote and your polling unit has been successfully transferred to your new location, do us a favour by voting out the current inept leaders in the country.

Your story is really pathetic but quite spirit-elevating because alot of people in your shoes are on the verge of losing hope right now. I have a friend who has a large poultry farm in a village called Gimba Oja. Its about 15km after ganmo-amoyo in kwara, for those who are from kwara reading this. Its a small village along the outskirts of kwara. Bandits have turned that place into their dens. Those working at the agricultural institute nearby called ARMTI are in fear of Bandits attack. Some have resigned voluntarily. These are the news that will never make headlines. Tinubu is a disaster to this nation. After tricking kwarans to embrace the otogee protest which he sponsored to send saraki off so he could win kwara, he has abandoned them completely in time of need. Its a great lesson for all.

Only a few knew that saraki was doing a great job in curbing insecurity in kwara by personally employing vigilantes and paying them. Only for this man to rope him in and saying those his vigilante were the ones who robbed a bank in offa. Imagine. It's a great thing to note the case had been thrown off. My friend's brother was robbed with his millions of naira he's using for his POS business last year in same place. He had up to 15 POS locations. Maybe its same saraki vigilante who did that. During my days as a student in Ilorin, robbers hit banks at taiwo and gaa akanbi areas, boya na still saraki boys.

Bro, that your whole village or any mature family member you can mobilize, galvanize them, get your voters card and vote rightly this time. Protect your votes too.
This is how we can fight back.
Let’s by our votes put in a government that is compassionate, present, honest and committed.

Think of later settling down in the city sometime in life when your children are about getting into their teen years. The wisdom and exposure of the city too is good for a child’s development

What insecurity has done to Nigeria is beyond what anyone can sufficiently explain the comeback of Buhari to power aggravated it because of his Jihadist mindset.

We cannot defeat banditry while we remain blinded by religious bias and selective sympathy.

When this crisis began, churches were attacked and Christians were killed in the name of jihad, yet many leaders looked away.

Now the monster that was created, tolerated, or ignored has grown beyond control. It no longer cares whether its victims are Christians, Muslims, or people of any faith.

Evil tolerated against one group eventually consumes everyone.

First of all, sorry for you losses, may God protect and provide for you and your entire family.

Also, Mr. OP you are not just serious with your life.

Why will you be giving birth to 7 children? You are part of the problem we are having in Nigeria.

Anyone that give birth to more than 4 children should be arrested.

May God help you

Lol! I believe you be GenZ.

The truth is simple: fidelity is a matter of character, not occupation, appearance, or financial status. A person who is determined to cheat will eventually find a reason or opportunity to do so, regardless of whether they are a full-time housewife, career woman, business owner, or student. Likewise, a person with strong values and self-discipline will remain loyal even when temptation is placed directly in front of them.

I once had an experience that reinforced this belief. I met a young hawker selling snacks and called her upstairs under the pretense of buying from her. I then made an inappropriate offer, telling her that if she agreed to sleep with me, I would buy everything she was carrying. She immediately declined and explained that she was married. I increased the offer and even promised to support her financially with an additional ₦250,000, yet she still refused without hesitation.

That moment changed my perspective. It reminded me that, despite the negativity people often speak about in society today, there are still individuals with strong morals, self-respect, and integrity. The young woman could easily have justified accepting the offer because of financial hardship, but she chose principle over temporary gain.

Experiences like this prove that loyalty and morality are personal decisions. Faithfulness is rooted in values, discipline, and conscience — not in someone’s job, social class, or environment. Whoever wants to cheat will cheat, and whoever values loyalty will remain loyal, regardless of circumstances.

I just went inside and gave gave her 20k, encourage she stay faithful to her husband. I wave her good bye.
