In a shocking revelation, it has been revealed that the house of representative member for oshodi/isolo federal constituency, Jesse okey Joe onuakaluasi only conducts empowerment meant for his constituency in Catholic church regardless of religion, tribe or classification. This means the empowerment would not only be limited to Catholic members but could also be a bait to lure innocent Nigerians to Catholic faith. Critics have questioned the rationale behind such action labeling it as anti-people and restrictive. By the arrangement, constituents who are Muslims and other Christian denominations are automatically denied opportunity to benefit from the empowerment programmes allocated to their constituency. An x user onikumo ekun made the allegation in a post share on the x platform.

Northerners have been doing it in the mosques since time immemorial.

They should wait for the next empowerment, or they should go and register their names in the Catholic Church and see if they would be rejected.

This man needs to keep a low profile or defend himself sensibly because he is going to be the poster boy for Anti Ndigbo politician feelings in Lagos state.

Come next elections, his name will be front and centre as to why Yoruba liberalism in Lagos needs to end.
