oshiomohle was Tinubu first choice for Senate president but the Senate first time rule was against him. no south east and south south politician that is closer to Tinubu than oshiomohle. you can't deny it out of sentiment anyway but pure fact. he don't want to be without power because he has less than two years and he will have to wait till 2031 to contest Senate. Senate convene in June next year after January elections and imo governorship will be before December next year. he would have just have less than six month to the end of his tenure of eight years. think deep to understand very well.

This will depend on the votes the SE give to APC.

If they don’t churn out reasonable vote for Tinubu in 2027, then Hope won’t be anything in that next senate.

Then why he no canvass for Asiwaju to even have ordinary 25% votes in the 2023 presidential election in Imo state?

A politician value is the votes he brings. If they can win for themselves and not even guarantee 25% for the center, then their use of sagacity is useless to the party.

Man is extremely dangerous. I'm not a fan of his or anything APC, but I know enough to know how dangerous this Hopeless man is.

Someone like Wike has more money to throw around, but in the real scheme of things, in the entire Southern Nigeria, Hopeless has no match - apart from the Satan-in-Chief himself currently occupying Aso Rock - as far as this demonic kind of power politics is concerned.

Only God will deliver Nigeria from these people.

He can contest while in office as governor. But once he takes oath of office as a senator, assuming he wins in the election, he automatically ceases to be governor that day and moment. He doesn't even need to resign.

SS is getting VP in 2031. It's between Akpabio, Oshiomhole and Wike.

The probable calculation is for SE to become SP so as to market APC in the SE and reduce Obi's votes.

Don't mind them, with all the praises on hope by them, hope couldn't give Tinubu 25% votes in Imo state in the last election but when it got to his own election, he won convincingly. They think Tinubu doesn't know them and they are only flocking round him because he is the president. Let Obi or Atiku win 2027 election and let's see if within 6 months hope won't defect to the newest party in power. But Oshiomhole can never defect

For your information, aside Yorubas, Tinubu knows his most diehard lover and supporter is Oshiomhole. Oshiomhole has been following Tinubu since 2006 right from AC to ACN and to APC. It was Oshiomhole that brought Tinubu party to the whole of SS, when all the Akpabio, Hope, Wike and others were in PDP

Again, Tinubu doesn't need Uzodinma or the S/E for whatever reason when he wins second term, so there's no need picking Uzodinma for the purpose of pacifying the S/E.
We in Edo APC already knows Oshiomhole is the next SP according to Tinubu.

I think Hope Uzodinma tenure will expire in 2028,why is he picking senatorial nomination form.May be he may resign as IMO state governor before 2027.
