Exactly what these guys failed to understand....I understand what you are talking about...When prices of goods fluctuate,it not too good for an entrepreneur...Just lost 2k litres of diesel then you will understand how volatile the economy of this country has become...When I hear ppl supporting APC government/singing on your mandate they shall stand I little wonder which mandate Exactly...Some of us aren't lazy but the policy of this government is making business very unpredictable for us..I can't even talk here. Some things are beat unsaid....
Sad one bro, I lost three vibrant business from 2020 to now. The one I lost in this government was worse, very terrible experience brother.

When it was 8m those that are into the business will have to sell it cheaper than it is now after they made their profit. As it's 67m now they will still sell it and make profit, which makes the life of an average Nigerian a bit harder.
We will VOTE WISELY THIS TIME AROUND
helinues:
When it was that 8 m, how many Nigerians are into oil business?

Una see why it's a waste of time to be engaging with some of those opposition supporters. Their reasonings are aged as stone age

So who among the wise candidates to be voted in will bring it back to N8m(subsidy)?
Atiku, Obi, or Yekini?

You that your sense of reasoning is still intact. How much were you buying fuel b4 the war started?
Shouldn't Nigeria as an oil producing country be benefitting from the global increase

Why is the mannequin still borrowing trillions of naira even after removing subsidy and taxing the hell out of the ordinary citizens.

Why are we paying so much money for data

Why are we living in darkness even when your loud promised us steady power when elected

These and many more questions you should be asking if your brain is still intact

Timmi:
Go back to 2023 then. Some people loose their sense of reasoning just to please their sponsors. The Trump war has caused the increase in the price of fuel worldwide. To exercise common sense, you need to compare the prices of fuel in other countries at 2023 to what is obtainable now.

nobody is crying about anything, Nigeria will not b run on trial n error basis

If u suggest someone like sowore or any other person that hasn't been tested before I agree but it's bullshit if u bring any of the old faces

If u can't bring a new person then tinubu will continue, so u want us to put someone u can't pinpoint his achievement or legacy project for good 8 years as governor of a tiny state to come n do trial n error

N besides tell me d bad policies of tinubu that obi will reverse?
You are not ready for change.

Good afternoon. Enjoy your government.

A liter was sold for 220 on may 29 before Tinubu announced subsidy removal which shot price instantly to 520. Remember there was scarcity. Do the maths on the funds.
Franchise is the new bae, I've advised them to do that but old is thinking of his business name cheesy while alive.
Also expenses is another thing, they're installing solar gradually to cut cost.
NMDPRA sanctions is all time high because of cut in funding by Tinubu and are looking for revenue.
E never serious, e no get money, e still dey do agidi. He needs huge fund to stand alone in the oil market for now
95% of the major fuel stations you see around are franchise, they prefer you have the asset while they set the standard and ensure you have prompt supply.
So many Mrs, Mobil around the corner now, people are shifting away from NNPC sef
Some that went for AP are dumping it.
SKG that is majorly in Oyo is also springing up in Lagos too, I've seen 2 branches around me.

How does that even make sense? There's extortion in this whole fuel pricing in Nigeria.
Because it's not even economically making sense.

Tinubu made everything worse. I'm still saying it and it's just the fact.
The way he came about the removal of fuel subsidy gave room for those cabals to extort the nation. They were the one that decided what the price would be and it was over 200% raise.

Cos tell me, it wasn't like that when Jonathan removed it. It was Jonathan and his cabinet that decided the price. It was from like #65 to #120 then. They carried out proper feasibility study, came up with a price for the whole nation, Jonathan came out and announced that the fuel subsidy has been removed and this is the new price.

But Tinubu, without not even entering the office, announced the price before sitting with his cabinet. The cabal used that opportunity and gave us an extortionist pricing . Different price for different zone. Everything scatter.

What Tinubu has caused this country would take decades to amend
Your talk doesn't make sense! Tinubu did what? What is the actual price of PMS? Or you don't want to pay the actual price? Who will pay the balance? Are people in Togo, Ghana, Benin etc not paying the actual price? are they not citizens of their countries too? Oga, if Nigeria tire you, japa!

8million naira divide by 197naira per litre then. Will be like 40k plus litre.
The current price of fuel in my area now is 1400naira per litre meaning 1400x 40,000litre=56m. Woow on the high side but those people added 12M to it may be for logistics/stealing grin

8 million naira plus a whole lot of debt in loans and more loans, that was the cost back then..loans taken to replace the monies taken from the budget to subsidise fuel, electricity, and a host of other things....which worsened our debt.

Once you understand how subsidy works, you go get am, you will even get how karma forced tinubu to remove it totally.

By 2022 , we were seeing the end result of decades of taking on more debt to pay for subsidy. All our revenue was going for debt servicing. All of it. Plus including new loans.

The only good thing is that tinubu supporters to some extent now understand why GEJ wanted to remove fuel subsidy...indeed some Nigerians may now understand why world bank and imf wanted us to remove subsidy as far back as 1992...because the thing with subsidy is you can budget X for subsidy for one year, then oil price go rise up, and so does the cost of subsidy, meaning you go take money from other sectors of the budget, and borrow to fill up the resultant deficit. And the scary thing is the money is not going to be enough.

Yet we have said no, no, no. Now here we are. Forced to take a decision that should have been taken decades ago, to expereience pain that should have been done with decades ago.

Yet most nigerians, even tinubu supporters , want subsidy back. LOL. Most tinubu supporters who defend subsidy removal on petrol become angry when asked about removing subsidy on electricity totally.
And as he removed subsidy how much has he saved so far? Where is the savings?
Has borrowing stopped?

Rather the naira has become almost useless and heading towards the way of Zimbabwe.

I was told fish now cost 5000 in Nigeria right now.
I hard it's now difficult to feed now in Nigeria, food has gone up.

Please let's have some sense please.

Nairalanda1 at it again the moment oil, electricity and subsidy is mentioned you show up within seconds Thats bot like behavior. That said back in 2023 I mentioned this to you that if subsidy was removed the economy will collapse the effects are already there. Now subsidies have been removed and we are even in more debts hyper inflation. You need to be canned with this your gbegiri analysis. You don’t mean well for this country

The economy has not collapsed, other wise you won't see food in the markets, and there would be queues for everything, and no money for salaries, and queues everywhere, and total anarchy.

Also, acting like a primary school student says that you don't have much to refute my points.
