Ugochukwu was healthy as anyone can be when he took his annual leave. He was excited too, because he can finally visit his aged Mom in the East. He came to the office and bid us goodbye - we wished him the best experience as he visits home. Nothing seems out of the ordinary. A month passed. We were anticipating Ugo's return, but we got a call instead - Ugo is hospitalized due to "malaria" which excalated so fast that he had blood in his brain. How? Why? Where? I don't understand! This morning, we received news of his death. It makes no sense. Absolutely no sense. Is it now a crime to visit your village and see your aged mother? Is it now a crime to go home with gifts for family members? Is it now a crime to succeed in your career? Do you have any idea the battles he had to face to make it that far? Ugo, God will judge every person that has a guilty hand in your death. I refuse to accept it as natural. There is nothing natural about a vibrant young manager dying at the very point of his breakthrough, in the arms of his aged mother, simply because he visited home. Ugo's case has brought it home for me. I don't trust no one hence forth. I don't want any id10t around me. And I certainly don't have to visit any 4king village. Now I understand why people relocate after making it. Evil m4kers! RIP Ugo! Avenge your death! Kill them all!

| Re: Do Not Trust Anyone, Not Even Family by Gagare1(op): 10:01pm On May 11*. Modified: 10:19pm On May 11 |
Ganjafama:Yes, it is a true story. He was transferred to Kano from the East. So he decided to visit home and spend his annual leave there. Apparently, he is doing better than what some people wanted. So they killed him. I remember when he came to Kano and in our discussion he told that he believed his transfer to Kano was a way of frustrating him out of the job. But he survived anyway and excelled. He just got a promotion and his official car is already on the way, but he never returned to get it. People are just wicked. They sent him to Kano to be frustrated or killed by insecurity (as ignorant Southerners perceive about Kano), yet he survived. So they waited for him to come home so that they can do it themselves. Now you understand my pain. I grew very fond of him. He was teaching me how to speak Igbo, and I was teaching him Hausa. I call him the "Lion" and he calls me a "great man". God knows I am still mourning Ugochukwu. I tend to easily develop a friendship with Igbo guys, even though I am Hausa. I think it is because of how straight forward they are. I hate corner corner people. I will miss him. |

Ugochukwu isn't dead, bring him to my spiritual center and he'll come back to life after I successfully summon his soul back into his body, and he would tell his own side of the story. This I have seen. |

Take care of yourself, no b everything b Village people. Lack of small funds for treatment kills people. Nagging/abusive partner kills people. Try and do well for yourself. |

But there are still people who have trusted, and gone ahead to live a happy & fulfilled life. One Man's Poison💀, is Another Man's Meat🍖. Na so life just be. |

Gagare1:you will always have those evil idiots around you, they are inevitable in life. Wisdom is finding a strategy to keep them at arms length without starting an obvious beef. Once beef escalates then hostility becomes full blown. |

Lack of trust is the reason for car manual. When you trust, it means you have full faith in someone. Unfortunately, human beings are bound to disappoint or fail due to their vulnerability. |

There's something fishy about this story , how can an Hausa man like an igbo man as a friend and even so heartbroken to mourn his death? I thought hausas hate igbos (kafir)? ![]() |

Ugochukwu was not hale and hearty I'm sorry for your loss, but a lot of people are walking around really sick and not knowing. Nigeria has very, very poor diagnostic medicine services, which is why everything is "malaria and typhoid". BP 212/120 SPO² levels 89 A heart murmur DVT Fatty blood clot moving from your leg to your heart A heart attack (even kids can have one) Most of these things will give you little to no warning and the warning will come less than 24 hours after death. By the time you're rushed to the hospital, there's nothing anyone can do. It's not your village people, it's not because anyone is out to get you (be for real, why would I go to a babalawo, sacrifice my soul just to spoil your life instead of bettering my own life? How important are we in the general scheme of things sef?) it's just Life punching your checkout card and poor medical services. Again, I'm sorry for your loss |
