You are the one who needs a dictionary. The word "worship" does not only connote the worship of God. Extreme devotion and admiration is also worship. E.g: "He loved her so much he worshipped the ground she walked on."

This is a proper usage of the word worship and since you dare to talk about the dictionary while being so ignorant, here goes -

The question then becomes: who are the people calling Jesus “Lord”?

Clearly, these are people who identify themselves as followers of Christians.

Standard Christian doctrine says that he was fully man and fully God, at least for those who believe in the pagan doctrine of the Trinity.

You however say he was (God? - or not human) but simply took the form of a human.

Which is correct.

At all events, let's be clear:

1. If he was not a human, then he could not have experienced human pain and fear in the full sense the way humans do

2. If he was not a human he could not have experienced death the way humans do
