Bravo..
Even if you are embezzling public fund, try and do something as a politician. Masses especially uneducated people can easily be carry away by little things...

Reason why I the always give an accolades to Oyo State governor, he really tried his best when it comes to construction of roads, especially a place like Oke-Ogun area e.g Iseyin and ko

Most of the roads in Lagos Island where he supposedly hails from, are still so bad that many people wonder whether the governor is really from there.

Your statement is legalizing corruption, theft and siphoning of public funds!

Did you bother to ask the cost of the project to quantify if you have not been robbed?

Seems you don’t know most of these project are white elephant projects! If they tell you the cost, you will probably run mad!

Go research about the cost of the light rail project in Lagos and compare cost with counterparts in Africa and the world. You will be amazed that you celebrated robbery.

And na you from Agulu go tell us. As Alex Otti fixed all the bad roads in his own hometown ?

I am telling you all the roads by Alex Otti are white elephant project even some are blue whale project wey senior white elephant.

I wonder how many times you have queried Alex Otti over his 200 metre roads he post before n after of all over social media making senseless noise while he does absolutely nothing n loot Abia to death buying patrol car for 2 billion n 1.5 billion as if the patrol vehicle will lead him to hell.

I want to comprehend the price of the light rail to the Onitsha rail Peter Obi promised your likes or Obi will not build it till jesus return.

So you think I am Igbo and why you mentioned Alex Otti!

That’s the problem with most of you lots here! You believe being anyone who shares contrary opinion to your beliefs is from out of state or a different religion.

It’s an archaic way of reasoning or getting into a discussion.

Don't get it twisted...am not a supporter of any politicians, my point is, either white elephant project or blue, in some states, did they bother to do it🤷
If you are familiar with Ibadan iseyin road, Oyo iseyin road, Ogbomoso to iseyin, enter iwo-road etc, you will decode what I'm trying to say...
Before this governor, from Ibadan to iseyin, you will spent nothing less than 3 hours...
Now, within 45-60 minutes, you will get to your destination...

Mind you, I'm not a supporter of any politicians 🤷

He has done his bit,let the next gov too start from where he stopped......I dont like sanwo old but he did some bit in terms of insfrastructure......that massey children hospital project is a marvel to me anytime I drive past it.......its a huge developmental statement in health care when completed.

The development of lagos state has a template.
Only Ambode dared to work outside the template and we know how it turned out.
That's the downside of allowing only one man control the affairs of an entire state like lagos.
I'm very sure Ambode never regretted his courage though. If not for him, his hometown of Epe would still be a 16th century settlement till date.

Dem dem go still ask how masses go benefit.
One say a 54km six lane road can be a white elephant project. It is well.

Re: Epe To Ajah 54km 6-Lane Concrete Road By LASG by AngelSlay: 5:09pm On May 12
It’s fair to give credit where it’s due, if there are visible road projects in places like Iseyin and parts of Oke-Ogun, that’s something people in those communities can genuinely appreciate.

But a balanced view would also look at the full picture. Road development in Oyo State has not been evenly experienced across all areas. While some corridors have seen improvements or ongoing construction, other communities still struggle with bad feeder roads, delayed projects, or roads that deteriorate shortly after completion due to maintenance gaps.

Also, in governance, road construction is just one part of infrastructure. People often raise concerns about consistency, quality of execution, and whether rural areas are being prioritized as much as urban centers like Ibadan.

So yes, acknowledging progress is reasonable. But it’s also important to keep asking: Is the development widespread, durable, and fairly distributed across all zones, or still selective and uneven?

A white elephant project is one which has no real economic value and which will probably never be completed.

Does this project look like something that will never be completed?
