Is Dele a Northerner? Can he become the VP? Obi said he does not want to be the VP, that he is not desperate to become president, but to see a Nigeria that is working. He said he will be on the ballot and if he looses, so be it. So, why are all ADC big-wigs obsessed with Peter Obi? Can't they stand alone? They want to ride on Obi's goodwill and acceptability to make Atiku president. They are always calling Obi and Obi has never mentioned their name whatsoever. Haba! Obi this! Obi that! Nawao |

Bobloco:Same Northwest that chose Tinubu over Atiku in 2023, same Northeast that chose Buhari over Atiku in 2019, Atiku is too proud as a politician with little real political support, I'll pass. |

Odin13:Atiku that deleted his tweet about Deborah is not a sharia extremist. 2019 was a perfect opportunity for Atiku to defeat Buhari he lost all the States in the core north including kwara, Kogi and Niger on hefty margins, he was not even competing except in Adamawa, his home State with little votes compared to the average northern state, like Jonathan's Bayelsa. Atiku and Obi tested their separate strengths in 2023 and despite the results being rigged and voter suppression in key obidient stronghold like Lagos and the overturning of the results in Rivers, we saw the outcome. 6.1 to 6.9, notwithstanding the rigging pdp did for their candidate in states like Delta and Akwa Ibom. I don't want to add the regional based riggings because that assisted the sons of the soul in each of their region but we know who was the least beneficiary because of the small numbers of his zone. Notwithstanding, 6.1 to 6.9. if you put all the above mentioned factors together, we can argue Obi even came out with higher votes than both Atiku or Tinubu(because every stolen/minus Obi vote after counting was switched/plus to Tinubu or Atiku) or at best they were almost neck and neck. Now, in the aftermath of the elections, we see the energy and enthusiasm is still with Obi, yes the AO combination would have been well, but Obi's enthusiasm would have died off in the south. And now you see Kwankwaso's enthusiasm is still high among his supporters in Kano, that's what you want in an agreement. Atiku knows this and that's why I believed he and Obi and Kwankwaso would have sat down in ADC to discuss what they all are bringing to the table to defeat Tinubu, I expected him to bless the ticket as PO's elder brother and agree on his role as the ADC national leader and also select/suggest who will be Obi's running mate whether Kwankwaso or brings the best raw vote numbers by the recent data or another person Atiku feels is best to deliver the win for them and who he can count on to campaign vigorously for. Given Obi has promised 4 years, he can 2031 when National sentiment will favour him (all this is just like Tinubu did, Buhari was getting votes from his fanatical base, Tinubu had the structure, but not the followership he partnered with him and is now reaping the fruit of his labour) . Atiku on the ballot will perform abysmally in Kano, he did it 2023 and in 2019 even when Kwankwaso was his northern campaign coordinator . What Obi needs now to remove Tinubu is 25% from the northern states Atiku carried dazzol. Kwankwaso is the best bet for this. If this happens Obi will be competitive across the country, turnout will be high in both north as always and south will is necessary for Obi to beat tinubu. Atiku will undoubtedly be Obi's godfather and by 2031 he will slug it out with Kwankwaso in the party, of which I expect him to beat the VP (As Tinubu did, need I remind you) and defeat the APC candidate in the general election. Atiku should know that pdp is dead oo. All those 25% he was seeing in the south, he will not see it this time, not even in Osun State. He should do the needful before the courts force him to (I doubt Tinubu will make this mistake sha) and by then I hope it's not too late because Obidients/Kwankwassiya for their personal reasons may preach rubbish to Obi to not agree. The 2027 election suppose be for the southern candidates alone due to gentleman agreement between north and south in order to maintain political balance between north and south (though not in the constitution)but if Alhaji Atiku insist on contesting the presidential election in 2027 he is welcome. |

Odin13:So the game is just to remove Tinubu not about continue cohesion of Nigeria or what Atiku will be bring as alternative to present government policies, Atiku promised to implement the same policies this present government is implementing, which is floating of naira and fuel subsidies removal which has increase cost of living in Nigeria. |

Kanwulia:No be by gra gra. The middle belt and Kano is OK. We never enter northwest and northeast except Taraba and Kano. Even Kogi, Kwara and Niger are not OK yet oo. Lot of work to be done. 25% is needed in these states. |

franchasng:Are you sure of Ondo, Oyo, Borno and Bayelsa(that means pdp rigged Obi's vote for Atiku here). Rivers did not have up to 1 million votes, Wike suppressed Obi's support here and changed the votes of those who managed to still vote. |

PHIPEX:This strategy did not work in 2023, we need Atiku's vote. Neither Peter Obi nor Atiku could nget up to 25% in 25 states in 2023. Our aim should be to capture most of Atiku's supporters and even Tinubu's in the north. |

WhizdomXX:What did Tinibu do about the killings in the middle belt? Tinubu has the governors, NOT THE PEOPLE. Big difference. Kano? Kwakwasiyyya Kano? With 100% FAILURE and INSECURITY all over Nigeria? Please, tell me what Tinubu is offering ANY PART OF NIGERIA. Are you under a spell or something?😆 Tinubu DID NOT WIN IN 2023. With the unbelievable level of political incompetence and financial recklessness displayed by the APC government over 12 years, I really do not understand what on what grounds Tinubu can NEVER win ANYTHING ANYWHERE except with RIGGING. It is not Tinubu’s or SW’s or APC’s birthright to continue to DESTROY NIGERIA for over 200 million people. Simple logic! |
