Please Be Careful What You Take As Food. by MONEY247(op): 5:46pm On May 12
Organ failure is getting too much this generation.
You come online and see so many types of sickness linked to organ failure.
Our government needs a strong hand in monitoring what's coming to Nigerian food market..... Avoid packed food, avoid sugars (sugars are highly poisonous)
Avoid energy drinks and carbonated drinks...drink water and natural youghurt or zobo...

We live a time when wickedness is at it's highest...

The government won't do anything coz they are profiting from it. MJ is declared illegal coz govt makes zero profit from it while cigs and energy drinks are perfectly fine. Alcohol kills more people than guns, bombs and war combined you can look it up but it's perfectly fine as long as govt gets it own share.

I thought by now, FG would have banned sales of those Energy drinks causing kidney failure among Nigerian youths today. I wonder what the Minister of Health is doing, must everything be politics?

I always knew it would come to this, with influx of imported food items and drinks into the country due to systemic failure. It's only a system that makes local production a priority that can survive and thrive, SON, NAFDAC and other health agencies would be able to do their jobs by monitoring the production process of those foods, drugs and drinks consumed in Nigeria, but no, GREED by some people to make quick gains through import made them bastardize the system so they can import junks into Nigeria. Now they have successfully turned the country into a dumping ground for all sorts from Europe and Asia ranging from electronics, food items, hides and skin, poisons killing Nigerians etc.

May God help our greedy brothers to see the damage they are causing through importation, those who worship money and think everything in life is money.

Some people are slowly damaging their health in the name of enjoyment.

As we grow older, there are certain foods we really need to cut back on or avoid completely. But many people live by the mindset of “all die na die” until health complications begin to show up later in life.

The truth is, some health issues don’t start suddenly. They begin quietly from years of unhealthy eating and only become obvious with age.

Eat well. Eat healthy. Your body will thank you for it later.
Re: Please Be Careful What You Take As Food. by Greatzeus(m): 5:07pm On May 13
Your health is practically correspondent mostly to what you eat.
Environment ,hygiene and genetics play a part too. But not as much as what you consume as food or drink
Re: Please Be Careful What You Take As Food. by Eba50: 5:08pm On May 13

Why on earth would they ban it when they are making a lot of money from it in form of tax colletion
Re: Please Be Careful What You Take As Food. by MrPresidon: 5:15pm On May 13
No one is talking about the fact that healthy foods have now become a luxury to the common man.

Check this out; a 50cl bottle of zobo is 1k, tigernut 1.5k, same 50cl carbonated drink is #500. Now how do you expect the comon man to be able to afford a healthy lifestyle?
Re: Please Be Careful What You Take As Food. by Axis313(m): 5:16pm On May 13
Op, it's not only what we eat or drink,it also includes the medicine we use. Some Nigerians are so wicked to the extent they will change the expiry dates on medicine packs, some even go as far to produce fake medicines with popular brand names for unsuspecting patients to consume, just because they wants to make their own money, they are putting the lives of many Nigerians at risk.
Very wicked set of people.
Re: Please Be Careful What You Take As Food. by Angelfrost(m): 5:17pm On May 13
Nigeria is officially LAWLESS in almost every sector...!

Nafdac has never done enough and will never do close to enough.

So, your health and life are in your own hands.

Anyone whose eating or feeding is more from outside than within his or her own kitchen is already living dangerously.

There is no sugarcoating it.

The problem most times is with the fake versions they flood the market with.

You think say you dey drink redbull but na red boo you dey drink
Re: Please Be Careful What You Take As Food. by judewrites: 5:21pm On May 13
Carbonated drinks are slow killers....there was a youthful time if I don't drink one a day, I felt uncomfortable....it's dangerous to try that now.

Eating too much carbs too can break your body down too.

Even soft drinks, last year I have typhoid fever, I was just recovering from it,but then I was thirsty for some soft drink,I bought one cola drink, not Pepsi or coca cola,as I drank it,it tasted somehow in my mouth,I sha finish it.
To cut the story short,I started feeling somehow,me that was bouncing since morning, the next day my urine started to darken and the whites in my eyes became yellow,it has now turned to yellow fever.
It takes some time before the fever broke and my urine returned back to normal, that's when I did my research and knew that soft drinks have negative effects on liver.
Since then I always run away from soft drinks.
