Desmond Elliot is a Yoruba guy of Lagos origin.....he's an indigene of Lagos. However, Lagos also permits non indigenous residence who has lived in Lagos for so many years to participate in the state House of rep election. There has been instances of Eastern and Northern person having seat in the State House of assembly......

Desmond Elliot is still young. I'm thinking that since he has held that position for a while, he should aspire to serve at the HoR; people grow naturally. Unfortunately, this is Lagos where someone will have to cherrypick who gets the APC ticket. That's no democracy
