Tehran official says 80% of war-damaged areas repaired in the capital

About 80 percent of war-damaged sites in Iran’s capital have been repaired, the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) reports.

“More than 60,000 residential and commercial units in Tehran province were hit by American-Zionist attacks during the third imposed war,” Deputy Governor of Tehran Seyyed Kamaleddin Mirjafarian was quoted as saying.

Estimates indicate Iran suffered about $270bn in direct and indirect damage since the start of the US-Israel war on February 28.

Bridges, ports and railway networks, universities and research centres, and several power plants and water desalination plants were directly hit, while a large number of hospitals, schools and civilian homes were also damaged or destroyed.

Bridges, ports and railway networks, universities and research centres, and several power plants and water desalination plants were directly hit, while a large number of hospitals, schools and civilian homes were also damaged or destroyed.

While Iran targeted and destroyed US bases and military facilities inside Occupied Palestine, US and its proxy were targetting civilian infrastructures and killing school children. Smh.

Now the world knows why US and its proxies can not be trusted with nuclear power.
