There's no president, dead or alive, who does it as he says it like Trump. In fact, most people think he's dictatorial simply because he doesn't regard bureaucracy or time-wasting paperwork.

Xi must've wanted his vice to be his psychological veil against Trump before meeting with him, because he knows that what Trump is coming to demand, he can't afford to resist to give it.

Trump's kind of behaviour is the easiest in leadership. Very easy. The actual measure of true leadership has a lot to do with tact and stability. Being erratic, bossy and dictatorial are very poor qualities of leadership. All known dictators have these qualities. These are qualities for the moment. They are not enduring.

To those saying Xi didn't go welcome Trump at the airport, presidents don't normally receive visiting fellow head of States at the airport. American presidents just like Nigerian presidents don't, so no big deal, they will be meeting them at the state house. The only time a US president recently meet a visiting leader at the airport was Obama receiving Pope Francis at the airport on his US visit.
