North are so confused at the moment. They don’t know whether to allow Tinubu complete 8 years meanwhile Tinubu keeps stripping power away from the north, distributing it to other parts of the country equally. I do not trust politicians blindly, but 4 years is still enough time to put a country on a reasonable path and create a trajectory that a successor with the same ideology can continue.

If it's for us to believe what Obi said or promised let me ask some questions

* Why is Obi moving from one party to the other when he promised not to leave the party (APGA) that brought him to limelight.

* Why is he so desperate to rule now

* Why did he build a party from foundation like Dickson did when NDC

* Why is that he always give wrong data about the economy.

* Why is he playing to the gallery

If he loses his billed to be the president in 2027 will he stay and help build NDC or will he jump ship again.
To be the president of a country is a day job, you have to have been building structure like for many years, eg Buhari and others. Obasanjo and Jonathan got it on a platter of gold which is not common again.

I beg to differ,kwakwanso actually needs this for awareness and visibility to leverage his ambition cone 31 when power would return north......he has gained huge mileage by pairing with obi especially into the recalcitrant south to his ambition...... he has gained the kind of popularity in 3 months he has been struggling for since 99.....and that is the singular reason he is playing along despite knowing that ticket is going nowhere.

Obi is a very peaceful politician that doesn't like toxic politics i don't think he will fail to keep his promise knowing fully the consequences you and I know even kwankwaso will never support him so no need for all these fears.

Peter should tread carefully bcoz African politics is ruthless. My concern is how trustworthy is his alliance with Rabiu, bcoz I fear there could an hausa/fulani agenda where they ride on the wave of Peter's popularity to power then off Peter so the VP then assumes the No.1 office. It doesn't smell nice to me though.

Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the 2023 elections, has defended the purchase of sports utility vehicles (SUVs) for members of the national assembly.

There have been reports that the leadership of the 10th national assembly has bought SUVs for all lawmakers.

Each SUV is said to be valued at N160 million.

The LP had asked members of the party in the national assembly to kick against “wastage”.

While responding to questions during a press conference in Abuja on Monday, the former governor of Anambra said the SUVs are not personal cars of the lawmakers, noting that they are for official use.

“Let me start with the issue of Labour Party members in the house. I have actually discussed this issue with them,” Obi said.

“Surprisingly, I can tell you I heard that these vehicles are official cars. They have to use it. It is meant for office.

“So it is not as if it is their vehicle. They said it is official cars and you are meant to use it while you are in the senate.”

Obi also hinted at contesting for the country’s number one position in 2027, adding that Nigeria deserves dedicated and visionary leaders who will lead the country towards a brighter future.
