We've Tried Hausa-fulani, Tried Yoruba, Let's Try Igbo & Compare! by franchasng(op): 5:48am On May 15
I am sorry to go this way, but since Nigerians have refused to divorce tribal region in our national politics, let me say this without apology.

Yes Nigeria has over 20 different tribes or ethnicities but we all know that Nigeria is predominantly made up of:

1.) Hausa
2.) Igbo
3.) Yoruba

Every other Nigerian tribe share traits that revolve around these three majority tribes even though they are distinct in some ways.

Now for the past 47 years, we have tried Hausa-Fulanis, we have tried Yorubas and Nigeria has continued to get worst every year, and we have never tried an Igbo person as President.

Remember they said and I quote: "doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results is madness?" Why can't we just try this Igbo man called Peter Obi and see what he can do? Let us try something different for once and see what happens. Most successful people in life became successful by trying a new business they have never ventured into in the past. Many people achieve success in life by trying new things, something different from the usual.

We have already seen the best of Bola Tinubu and we all can sincerely agree that Bola Tinubu failed woefully, he even knows it himself and also admitted and now begging for another 4 years to correct things saying that too many things were already spoilt in Nigeria before he took over and that he need more time to fix them, which is complete lies. If Tinubu started governing Nigeria with sincerity of heart and without tribalism and bias mind for some regions and people, he would have assembled more competent and capable Nigerians that would have helped his government to transform Nigeria for good, but he started his leadership on the wrong footing of tribalism, disdain for some regions and people, bias mind towards some sections of Nigeria and a focus on mostly his state and region, that was a terrible decision and a clear sign of a bad leader.

We don't need to give Tinubu a second chance no matter what. I know that he cannot even win through free, fair, credible election and that is why every Nigerian must prepare ahead of 2027 Presidential election to stand against every rigging plan APC and INEC have in mind. We all must resist their rigging intentions because if Tinubu succeeds in rigging himself into office for a second tenure, Nigerians will see hell no jokes.

Tinubu is a daring politician, a mean and brutal one, if he succeeds in rigging himself into office for a second tenure, he will see himself as a truly demigod that no Nigerian can challenge or correct, he will not lead or govern Nigeria, he will rule Nigeria with iron fist. That new tax law will be a child's play. You guys think that law is meant to raise money to develop Nigeria right? By the time your bank accounts starts getting frozen and you are slammed with million naira fines for not paying tax from the meager income you are earning from your online business hustle or peasant trading or other daily hustles you do to survive, you guys will realize your mistakes for ever supporting Tinubu to come back or sitting idle as he rigs himself back into office.

As for the North, you guys thinking its better to allow Tinubu finish one tenure so the Presidency can return back to North for you guys to revenge what Tinubu have done, I laugh at you all. If Tinubu comes back for a second tenure, that your turn you are waiting for to revenge may never come and if it eventually comes, your next Northern President will be so powerless and inconsequential to even make any meaningful changes from what Tinubu would have done to tie the hands of the next President of Nigeria.

Tinubu is truly a political strategist, no doubt. He knows he has made so many enemies up north, he knows he has amassed so much wealth through government and he wouldn't want next President from the North to touch his wealth or family after he has departed so he will definitely make sure he uses his next tenure to reduce the powers of the next Nigerian President to change whatever he has done before leaving. He might even restructure Nigeria to favor only Lagos state which he has started with the new tax law, so dear Northerners wake up.

It is better to try Peter Obi for four years than to allow Tinubu to continue. It is easier to remove Peter Obi from office if he fails than to remove a Bola Tinubu that have failed Nigerians already.

And to my dear Yoruba brothers and friends, please see beyond tribe. Tinubu have done his best already and his best is not good enough, let us try something entirely new and see. If Peter Obi fails, I personally will lead the revolution against him and his government. Let us do this for the sake of our nation and the future of our unborn children. Tinubu might have done better if he was younger, but age is already telling on him, age matters a lot in leadership especially for a shattered nation like Nigeria that need someone with agility and strength to put things in order. By the time Tinubu is reelected, he would have become even older and some people will hijack his government just as it is being rumored even now.

Please my fellow Nigerians, let us try this Peter Obi and see, God maybe waiting to use him to lay a solid foundation for a promising Nigeria for all of us. Please lets give Peter Obi a chance, if he fails we can even revolt against his government before the tenure expires and ensure he is removed via impeachment, Peter Obi is so peaceful and democratic that it won't be difficult to impeach him if he fails within 2 years.

This is an appeal, I really yearn and desire to see a new, prosperous Nigeria.

I have been to few developed countries in Asia and Europe and I always feel like crying when I return back to Nigeria. God knows all I want is a better Nigeria different from what we have today. And that Nigeria can never be built on tribalism and bias mind like Tinubu is doing. Peter Obi Presidency will assemble the best of Nigerians from all tribes, mostly young and competent Nigerians with bright minds and initiatives, it will never be for the politicians who destroyed Nigeria and made it a sorry of a nation it is today.

Good leaders are not usually excellent politicians.

Let's join effort and ensure Peter Obi becomes the next President of Nigeria and see what God can do for this nation. Nigeria is in very bad shape. Take a look at the level of insecurity, youth unemployment, inflation and economic hardship, if Tinubu returns back in 2027, what we are seeing today will be child's play honestly. Imagining Tinubu winninng 2027 Presidential election is already giving me serious chills cry

It will be extremely difficult for someone from the minority to become president in Nigeria today. That opportunity ended with Goodluck Jonathan when Nigeria had no strong opposition party.

Nigerians are strongly tribalistic. It’ll be hard to convince an average Nigerian not to vote based on ‘na my bother’ rather, on competence and quality.

Politically and otherwise, our biggest problem is the North and South West. One cannot see beyond religion and the other tribe. It’ll be difficult to have a better Nigeria.
