Nigeria 2027 Presidential Election: Who Stands A Chance? by MellowArticle(op): 5:34pm On May 13
As Nigeria moves toward the 2027 general elections, the race is already taking shape around a familiar set of political heavyweights. While official candidates are not yet finalized, the likely field includes figures such as Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, Rabiu Kwankwaso, and possibly Rotimi Amaechi.

Peter Obi has won the election for Tinubu. Tinubu was always going to win but things have now shaped out for his stress-free and easy win as opposed to him battling a united Atiku, Obi and Kwankwaso triumvirate.

I love Peter obi and I wish he wins the election...but based on the way things are, it's becoming more obvious by the day that Tinubu will take it.

From all indications, a free, fair and credible election will swiftly produce Obi as president especially in combination with Kwankwaso as Vice.

Tinubu will win because all indices point to him! If we had a united opposition (Atiku, Obi) it would have been a different ball game! But the opposition is divided and we will see same result as 2023 with Obi shouting foul play…

You people should stop this gaslighting nonsense. Why isn't Atiku held responsible for the split up of the coalition? Why Obi? This same Atiku wrecked the PDP with his selfishness and yet Obi is the problem. Which party has Obi ever wrecked in his wake? Whichever marabout that promised Atiku the Nigerian Presidency should be held responsible for his lack of wisdom.

Kwakwaso is no more a candidate.
He's playing tricks on Peter Obi.
If they lose, next election, where Tinubu won't be on the ballot, he'll contest as president because that's the agreement between him and Peter Obi
Re: Nigeria 2027 Presidential Election: Who Stands A Chance? by Cj4charles(m):
A straight question was asked, but you will see how some people will start attacking Obi as if he is the only candidate on ballot where as we have over 20 to 30 Candidatein different political party.... who has a chance they say Obi doesn't, yet 97% talked about Candidate on this first page is about Obi.... many have even forgotten that Amaechi is also a Candidate

Are they standing on his mandate because he is using the subsidy FORCED on us by All Promises Cancelled, APC to pay them?

Petrol should never cost more than N70 per litre, says APC

January 19, 2015

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has described as mere tokenism the reduction of petrol price from N97 to N87 per litre, saying the petroleum product ordinarily should sell for N70.

On Sunday, the federal government announced the reduction of petrol price, citing the fall of global crude oil price.

But the APC through Lai Mohammed, its spokesman, on Monday accused the government of making a show out of deceit, saying “a 10.3 per cent slash in the price of petrol was a mere tokenism at a time the price of crude oil has crashed by about 60 per cent”.

It argued that the pump price of a litre of petrol should not be more than 70 Naira, alleging that at N87 per litre, the government was forcing Nigerians to subsidise the massive corruption in the oil sector by N17 for every litre of fuel.
