Re: South African Entrepreneurs Give Foreigners Deadline To Close Shops by SmartPolician:
These guys are clearly insane. We shouldn't be considering taking over MTN Nigeria like Senator Oshiomhole suggested.

Instead, we will permanently block the telco from repatriating all the money the company steals from Nigerians. We need the company because it gives lots of Nigerians jobs. If Nigerians take over, they'll run it like glo grin

Are these the "drug dealers and criminal foreigners" who are ruining their society? You can see this is hate and intolerance at play.

This just shows you how terrible many black South Africans are at reasoning. They are directing their anger towards foreigners cos they can't touch the whites who own 70% of the assets in their country.

Anyways, good luck to them.
Re: South African Entrepreneurs Give Foreigners Deadline To Close Shops by helinues: 4:58pm On May 15
Shame on them. Only if they have clue about the future consequences of this their backwards behavior

Imagine the black Americans shading blacks in Africa because of the behavior of South Africans

One SA woman was even claiming it was the foreigners that did not allow her to give birth, just imagine lazy thinking
Re: South African Entrepreneurs Give Foreigners Deadline To Close Shops by Saint99: 4:58pm On May 15
I feel the government ís complicit in this whole thing. Don't understand what Nigerians are looking for in SA. Why continue to travel to a country that doesn't welcome you?
Re: South African Entrepreneurs Give Foreigners Deadline To Close Shops by Yorubastardz: 4:58pm On May 15
It's getting ridiculous
Re: South African Entrepreneurs Give Foreigners Deadline To Close Shops by tuoyoojo(m): 5:00pm On May 15
So after the leave who people employed by these foreigner what happens to them

There is nothing new that is happening now.

It happened in Uganda when idi amin forced foreigner off his country, what gains did they make thereafter

Pun intended they don't have sense. Only them want to fight the rest of the Africans

70% of wealth in SA is in the hands of the whites who are less than 10% of the blacks
Re: South African Entrepreneurs Give Foreigners Deadline To Close Shops by Guestmale: 5:01pm On May 15
I can't believe this is the same country Nigeria was in Frontline to fight for their freedom, except those shops are operating illegally even at that it is government officials that supposed do that.
Re: South African Entrepreneurs Give Foreigners Deadline To Close Shops by SonOfWords(m): 5:01pm On May 15
Lol.

But not for the useless leadership and defeated followership burdening down Nigeria, South Africans should find no footing to even speak with raised faces where Nigerians are present.

I can't exactly fault the "flintstones". Na we sidon allow our country spoil💀.

Doesn't work that way...!

They have signed contracts with your leaders.

As long as they deliver their part of the bargain, they can do whatever they like with their profits.

Do you tell Nigerian entrepreneurs all over the world where or how to repatriate their profits?!!

The only way is absolute boycott by CONSUMERS of the services they provide.

Sadly, this would only happen if there are better substitutes/alternatives, and if Nigerians are ready to unite to make this happen.

There is no greater time for Nigerians to unite and speak with one voice than now: Boycotting South African owned businesses and Voting out incompetent leaders.

Unfortunately, many of us prefer to do the opposite.

Story for the deities! Agreements only bind on parties in a normal situation....things have gone awry at this point.

South Africans are compelling Nigerians who have legit papers to live in their country to go back to Nigeria. At this point, all agreements and laws will be suspended.

The money MTN takes back to South Africa, which is even bigger than what the parent company makes, will partly be used to sustain those Nigerians when they come back.

Aura for aura...uha soup for uha soup!

If they're willing to buy off their businesses, no problem.

It's stupid to think someone will just abandon their investments and leave because you say so.

Re: South African Entrepreneurs Give Foreigners Deadline To Close Shops by BizLeader: 5:18pm On May 15
Did anyone here watch the video? Really?

The guy talked about the shop closing down because the shop owners visas don't allow them run businesses.

This happens in the US and UK too. You wouldn't even be able to anyway.

And why are nairaland members triggered as if they are talking about Nigerian businesses? sad
