I hope the political parties cleaned their registers of those who deregistered. For those in APC, today is house of representative primaries, go and select the best candidate to represent your constituency. Dear Nigerians, Remember to participate in the process of choosing the best candidate at the primaries. If you know anyone around you born in 2008 or earlier, tell them Go and register for their PVC at cvr.inecnigeria.org Then they go for physical capturing at the INEC office closest to them which they can see from the portal. Inec and political parties should be sensitizing people on this. If your voters card is old and fading, you can visit the INEC office to ensure it's still valid. After registration and collecting your voters card, make sure you go out to vote on election day and remain there till it's counted and uploaded on the IREV, which you can verify by yourself before leaving your polling station. In 2023, voter registration was at an all-time high of 93 million but yet voter turnout on election day was at an all-time low of 24 million, that is about 10% of the Country's population deciding it's future. In U.S.A, over 156 million turned out to vote in its 2020 election, that is about 50% (half) of its population. India in 2019, over 613 million came out to vote out of its 1.3 billion population. With even higher turnout in 2024. Nigeria will be Great Again. |

That means one can't lose ticket in one party and cross to the other to contest again. |
| Re: INEC: All 22 Parties Successfully Submitted Membership Registers by xtivin(m): 10:26am On May 16 |
Kanwulia:No need now, except you are looking for double registration else party membership does not determine voting pattern. I can be PDP for instance and vote APC |
| Re: INEC: All 22 Parties Successfully Submitted Membership Registers by Integrity200: 10:26am On May 16 |

The gate has been technically closed against another possible defection by Peter Obi ![]() Obi has been trapped in NDC. Only 40 people have purchased the NDC so far mostly in Lagos and Abuja. People are avoiding the party like a plague ![]() |

Yes, the new electoral law says you can’t join another political party once registered voters list has been submitted that election cycle |

esnbrutality:What you posted here makes absolutely no sense. Not a iota. There is no imaginary alliance between the so called "North" and you people. None at all. And what betrayal are you talking about? That Tinubu won't allow them to have their way as usual in his administration? Make it make sense. Does Nigeria belong to the "North'? What is the 'north'? Fulanis? Guy, you're dealing with a man who fears nothing and he will deal with you and whoever wants to bring the country down. Kanu will rot in jail and Tinubu will complete his eight years. Thank God even you know that your lord and personal political savior cannot win because you didn't even mention NDC in your comment. You're now here hoping out of spite that Fulanis will take over again. Hopeless losers everywhere!! |

Alliance between the North and SEnwas in existence even when they beat your ancestors in ILORIN. It was an equal opportunity partnership. Awolowo, did the damage, Tinubu repeated it and the SE will finish it. Cry Blood ![]() dragunov: |

Kukutente23:Is there any provision in the constitution that allows one to contest election in a party he's not a registered member or where INEC is mandated to release the submitted register for update when one defects later on? So many people that always wait to fed every information in NL therefore abandoning rational thinking ![]() |
